    Michael,
I believe the Comer 50 can run at the GGP, but it will not be scored into the CSC points system.

We hope you all show up as this event is more for “the kids” than any other kart race I have attended over the past 6 years. Not to say the big kids won’t have fun trying to negotiate a 180 degree hairpin off a 650′ straight in front of hundreds of on-lookers.

My mom and dad’s best friend = Johhny Parsons 1952 rain shortend winner. RIP dad and Johnny, I know you guys are rooting for us.

Have a great time Mike, this is something I still needd to check off my list of things to do before I go party with those guys up there.

We will miss Mikaela at the pool, but I hear those local Greeley chicks are really hot.

What is the deal with 400 lbs in Semi-Pro Shifter? Who’s going to help me lift this monster onto the stand? We already have 65lbs hanging to make 385 lbs in the CSC.
    Just wondering.

    Jim,
Great job by all. I wish I felt better and had Matt entered, but we should be there for the remainder.
I did notice K&N air filters for shifters. Is this an option we can utilize?
    Thanks,
    Curt

    Preston,
We will be there again this year. I did register us a couple of months ago and have not received anything confirming us. Can you look into that for me? We are looking forward to racing on the new layout.
    Thanks,
    Curt

I can’t speak for Jay, but if you fill out your Pre-Entry form and turn it in you will be guaranteed a prime spot Rich.
We also have your name on our volunteer list and you will be called upon to pitch in somewhere as we discussed at the meeting you attended.
We appreciate your staying on top of the GGP activities and I am looking forward to reading your news letter as soon as I can get my hands on one.

    Thanks,
    Curt

The meeting last night went very well and I will be posting the set-up & tear down schedule, and action register to the team soon.
This will mark the end of the typical Wednesday meetings. (Mikey will need to find a new drinking buddy for the next few weeks.)

The team leaders will now break up into their own groups to fine tune what each and every one of us will be doing over the next few weeks as we approach this event.

I will say that everything is falling into place very nicely. Even though this is an event put together by a bunch of passionate karters, we are going to have one Hell-of-a-Race.

The pre-entry form is now up on the GGP site along with the Hotel information. As stated in my last post, get your pit spot reserved SOON!

There will be informative posts by others that will be provided over the next few days including: Fire rules, pit rules, boom box information, move-in and set-up schedules…

A few of us will be at CNS Saturday afternoon/evening to promote this event with a kart display and informative handouts. I just want to see the figure 8 and train races myself.

Take Care, and feel free to call if you have any questions or have any warm bodies ready to pitch in and help.

We should start a collection for a motorized kart lift for Matt, or just let him spend a week with Ben. Bill

I will comment when I get my hernia stiches out. 385# sounds like we can drop our lead to +57#. Matt did spend an entire summer with Ben and never gained a pound. But Ben did learn how to pick up chicks! 😆

    Hey Kirk,
If it does not show up you can have our spare. Last time I left mine at IMI the guys put it in a box at the counter with the other 10-15 they found on that same straw bail.

Good advice from Jansen also. I always put a piece of tape on my trailer door right above the lock. It helps us old guys with nothing else on our minds after a day at the track.

Hope it turns up, and when it does, put your phone number on it.

To scientifically argue that this % of variation within the motors was relative to the outcome of a race, it would have to be potentially more variation than the variation that exists among each of and the aggregate of the other variables notable in this case:

That one hurt my head Scott, and I have a college degree. Youch! 😕

Good post, but hard to dance to.

Hope you guys can work out all your differences and focus on racing again soon.

    Mike,
I am pretty sure Michalea is from France. I accidently saw her armpit hair when she was waving you in after 8 laps in a 20 lap race.

We have weight, fuel, carb, tires and a few other head volumn type rules we are curious about too. I am just not going to get excited about it. The only time I ever got my kid DQ’d is when I as a tuner made a bad decision. I can’t remember when someone got singled out when playing fair and staying within the written rules in our 6 years within Colorado Karting.

And George is OK with us. He did many good things in the development of our son when we were starting out. Once again, we played fair with him, and his rules, and good things happened. Just another opinion again I guess.

What are you going to do if CRE get’s a CSC race in the future? Drop? Those should be some pretty gravy points in your own back yard the way you guys ran down there in the day.

Just go easy, racing season is right around the corner and everyone is pretty overheated with cabin fever right now.

    Gary,
What class are you going to run in? Or, what kart set up did you purchase? I am sure we can get you very close to what the rules are going to be for your seat time over the next 3 1/2 weeks.
It’s really not as disorganized as many are making it out to be. There are answers to many specific questions, and an entire host of folks out here that are willing to point you in the correct direction.
Just ask away and watch how many honest and organized answers you get.

Hope to hear from you soon.

BTW: The Greeley race is a CSC rules event, in the rain if necessary.

There you go again Brian. We were just starting to have fun and you had to go and ruin this thread again.

Now we have to start over. 👿
