Located next to the world famous Bandimere Speedway, Action Karting has been an active member of the karting community within Colorado for several decades. The Action Karting track features a 3/4 mile track, with multiple layout options. Fast-paced sections are complemented by slower, more technically challenging sections. On site ammenities include a sizable ‘pro-shop’ for kart racers, grand stands, live timing systems, and adequate pit space for large events. The Action Karting facility also features a large fleet of rental karts, as well as high-performance kart rentals. Many kart racers currently racing within the region first got a taste for kart racing at Action Karting.
Grand Junction Motor Speedway | Grand Junction, Colorado
Originally built in 2000, Grand Junction Motor Speedway is truly a world-class karting facility. While the facility is known primarily for its 0.9 mile long, eleven turn race track for karts and asphalt vehicles, GJMS also hosts several off road races and disciplines of motorsport throughout the year. Other on-site amenities include a full-service kart rental facility, a well-stocked ‘pro-shop’, and kart storage and refurbishment. GJMS also stocks many leading brands in karting, like Energy Kart, Swedetech components, and Tillett seats. Over the years, Grand Junction has been the site for many major regional and national karting events.
IMI Motorsports Park | Dacono, Colorado
For many karters in the Denver-Metro area, IMI Motorsports Complex has been a leading source for kart parts and expertise within the region. Originally built in 1987, the IMI Motorsports Complex features several race tracks spread across a sprawling property, each catering to varying forms of motorsports. On-site facilities include large pit areas, the longest kart track within the state, and a massive ‘pro-shop’ with thousands of parts in stock. IMI has a fleet of rental karts, which they use each year to introduce thousands of visitors to the facility to the sport of karting.
SBR Motorsports Park | Peyton, Colorado
The immaculately prepared SBR Motorsports Park is considered one of the most technically challenging tracks within the state. Located northeast of Colorado Springs, SBR hosts several forms of motorsports each year, including many kart races. The 0.5-mile long track features a smooth racing surface, significant elevation change, and an excellent combination of technical corners as well as fast, sweeping sections. On site amenities include a well-stocked ‘pro-shop,’ various pit space options, and a qualified staff to help racers. Just like many other tracks within Colorado, SBR has rental karts available, as well as performance karts and racing schools.
