We are basically using the 05 rules, with a few changes.
Thank you all for being so patient

    Angie,
Is it safe to assume 385# for Pro ICC, MS98, MG Yellow and same color numbers from 05? Also, I would like to challenge the oil mix rule. If we can pass a test with the same perimaters using a different blend, can we use a different product other than the mix we ran last season? Or is this going to open up a can of worms? There are some better brand products out there that can save motors from getting buggered up with bean oil.

    Thanks is advance,
    Curt

Rich, I have a suggestion on what you could do with the grape vine!! :sun:

    Curt,

You would be right on the assumption, 385 lbs for Pro 125 Shifter.

Background color for rear plates as follows:
    Pro 125 ? Yellow
    Novice 125 ? Red
    Stock 125 ? Blue
    Masters 125 Shifter ? Black
    Junior 80 ? Yellow
    Novice 80 ? Red
    Tag Masters – Yellow
    Tag Senior – Red
    Tag Junior – Blue
    Mini Max – Yellow
    Jr 1 Animal – Red
    Jr 1 Comer 80 – Black
    Kid Kart ? Yellow
    Briggs Mod – Yellow

As for the oil…. that would be a good question to run by Dennis.
Email him at [email protected] . I think that it may be out of the question.

The fuel used has to be C12 MS98 or MS93, your choice there.

    Roger & Curt,

Yea, so where are the rules? :idn:

If somebody said they were going to put them out, them either put them out or just say no we are not or we are definitely going by TaG USA rules and stop jerking everybody around. :argue

If you haven’t noticed the season has already started.

We seem to have a lot of newbies racing and watching and this does not reflect well on Colorado karting.

One good thing, George at CRE is on the ball. :sun:

Congrats to JB and Action Karting for doing some advertising on the Saturday morning Race show on 950 AM. Good job JB.

Hey did you get a load of Bobby racing at IMI on Sunday! He came in 2nd from the _ _ _ _. Good sport, I’d like to see the track owners and their support staff, shop owners race at one of the CSC races.

Rich, you worry too much. What is going to change in TAG Masters? Nothing is going to change in ICC other than weight, and that is a track adjustment on race day.

Don’t piss the powers to be off on the rules being published or there will be major changes.

Unless you are going to run with the kids your program will have no major changes.

Once again, if you build your program around RMAX, or TAG USA, how could you possibly not fit into the CSC?

    RELAX BUDDY.

    Curt,

It is not that I am worried about the rules or changes, it is the appearance of Colorado Karting Organization or lack there of.

The new karters see this and wonder why would I want to get involved in something that seems disorganized. Some have even with held registering for the CSC because of this.

I guess I am dissapointed when Newbies ask me about the rules, wts, and the nuances of Colorado racing-I am kinda of embarassed to give them a straight answer.

Now you know the real story.

Perhaps you should focus on the positives that do exist instead of the perception of disorganization.

    For instance:

    01) Spend time with the family.
    02) Put on a helmut and driving suit and go race somebody.
    03) Meet new folks with the same passion. Make new friends.
    04) Teach your kids something that they will appreciate for the rest of their life. Keep them off the street and into good GPA’s.
    05) Learn how to use tools, mix fuel, change tires, get greasey…..
    06) Find out how to deal with adversity and extreme weather changes.
    07) Travel to new cities, stay in hotels, shoot off fireworks, drink beer, smoke cigars, swim in pools and check out the umbrella girls….
    08) Watch Bobby the Backmarker and Ian the flagger.
    09) Eat brownies and cookies the pit mom’s bake the night before each race.
    10) Throw the water bottle for the IMI pit dog to chase.
    11) Get Cole to smile 😛 That always makes everyone else smile along with him. 8) 😛 😀 😮 🙂 :sun: :loony: 😉
    12) Watch kids like Ace grow up to be superstars and race on TV.

Anybody else got any favorite things to do on race day?

Nobody has more passion than you Rich. Just channel it in the right direction and everything else will fall into place.

    7) If you know of some loose umbrella girls would you please let us single guys know!
    9) What am I doing wrong?! No one offers me treats. All I get is the offer to buy a greasy burger on day old bread…
    11) He smiles? In what decade? 8)

    12) Bust each others chops when they don’t finish
    13) get entertained by the coulda, woulda, shoulda at the end of the day 😉

So where are the RULES!!!!! I want to know. I will not go on that same old crap as there the same as last year, or there on the internet. I have made my own mistakes by not having a written rule book. Last year we had an incident in the comer class. One of the competitors did not read I.K.F.’s rule book which happened to be referenced in the S.K.U.S.A. rule book. If there are no written rules expect us “my son and myself to run what we brung and who cares if we get disqaulified?” Can’t be disqualified if not in black and white right?????

There you go again Brian. We were just starting to have fun and you had to go and ruin this thread again.

Now we have to start over. 👿

yeah, I’m kind of regreting signing up so quickly… Just to let the powers that be know – I’m one of those newbie guys that Rich was talking about. I was really looking forward to running the series – but if I can’t plan at least a month ahead – I cant see running the series. Maybe I’ll run the GGP thing and maybe go clubing…

nice concept – hope the CSC gets organized by next year… just my opinion…

    Gary,
What class are you going to run in? Or, what kart set up did you purchase? I am sure we can get you very close to what the rules are going to be for your seat time over the next 3 1/2 weeks.
It’s really not as disorganized as many are making it out to be. There are answers to many specific questions, and an entire host of folks out here that are willing to point you in the correct direction.
Just ask away and watch how many honest and organized answers you get.

Hope to hear from you soon.

BTW: The Greeley race is a CSC rules event, in the rain if necessary.

Hey Curt just being honest. The rules may not affect your kid in I.C.C., but as you well know from the past that unless rules are black and white there will be problems. Heck even with written rules we have problems, but at least there is something to reference. I don’t agree with the opinion C.R.E. runs by the rules. What a JOKE that is . Tim does “KING GEORGE” have you fooled?? Even when the CSC is operating at it’s very worst it is 10000% better than C.R.E.
