There was a photog at the IMI race. He came up to me after the race with one of those ‘key-chain viewer’ thingies (sorry not sure how else to describe it). Anyway I was able to view the proof via the pocket viewer and ordered an 8×10. .
Kirk,
Let me know how the 8X10 works out for you. We ordered from him in the past and it takes about 4-6 weeks, plus the quality was very poor when blown up to that size.
His key chains are very cool, we have a whole drawer at home full of them, and grandma has about ten hanging on her car keys to show off at tea.
We quit buying from him because all he takes is Matt racing his shadow. We want to see action shots of trading paint, hole shots, passes, group racing shots… He always has reasons for not taking action shots, but we are done buying solo pic’s.
The new on-board stuff is working out well for our post race memories. So far the helmet cam has been a great investment.Curt Kistler

I have photo’s of my racing going back to pre-teen years that are absolute heirlooms and are irreplaceable. Do you have these for you or your child?

So long as you are comfortable explaining to your wife and kids you just got your black kart BUTT kicked with your old blue kart. :k Were OK with that.

ParticipantWe know it was not Jansen, due to the fact it was able to make a run for it without breaking down.
Still I can’t rule him out, he did have a kid on his lap 😯
Curt Kistler
ParticipantI’m sure Jansen would like to donate the playset in his back room since he has not had anyone to play on it for years. 😛 😯 😕 😮 😉

ParticipantSome days are better than others for rough driving out there. Ben and T are spot on with their comments also. Ask Roman or Kyle what driving in Monaco is like.
Bottom line to yesterday from what I saw was: Ian and his staff of corner workers were looking at everything. If they did not see any rough driving then that is the norm, or allowable level of bumping. When it gets out of hand, those corner workers will be on you and Ian will have words with the perp. Those corner guys rocked yesterday and the Blue was flying.
You can always purchase an on-board camera if you think things are getting too out-of-hand to review with the race director also.
Just another opinion.

ParticipantThe 15/25 sounds close in the counter clock wise direction, and I would add 1 rear tooth the other way.
We never had the opportunity to run the 80 at The Track because Jim was too busy drinking greenies and Matt went into the 125 class.
This should be a close starting point Nicole and Conner. Have fun, those 80’s are pretty fast.

ParticipantIan,
Your crew did a great job and worked very hard, esecially for the guys who just sit in their kart after a spin, waiting for a push. :rotate:There needs to be a refresher post on how to get your stuff in a safe place, and then worry about a push. (Which used to be illegal BTW) The corner workers should never drop their flag to run to another location. It opens up the opportunity for another collision.
The blue flag needs a little more excersise also. Chris got held up pretty bad at the end of our main for 2-3 laps.
All-in-all, the noobie shifter guys did a great job holding their lines once they were caught by Ben dominating the shifter class. It was the new helmut. That thing needs to be teched! I think the wicker bill is too high!
Nice job Ben. You look good in black!

ParticipantOK Folks, That is NOT paint drying
I think B Hole wrote the words for that song also. Pretty Cool!!!!
Glad I can’t fit my fat @$$ in a kart to do that. 😳

I stopped by, and I have to say that I was not impressed. I don’t know if it was the fact that 1) we’re new to karting, 2) we’re not ready to dump a bunch of cash yet, or 3) that we wanted to talk about kid karts that got us such a brush off. I think it’ll be quite a while before we consider going back there. And their web site is dead.[/quote]
Ouch! Barry really is a nice guy, and has a great track record of helping everyone out in our karting community. Sure you were in the right place?

Sorry Curt but I’m way behind on posts.
Anyway, like I said, behind on posts and need make an impact! And you’re wrong again Kistler:cheers:
Later,
Rick
Someday I will be as knowledgeable as many of you. Next time I will do more homework.
Thanks for the correction on this one. Alaska Rocks :cheers:Curt Kistler
