ParticipantNicole,
I plan on running a 1.67 ratio which is based on 15/25 sprockets, I have not run this ratio yet but the novice 80 kart I bought last fall used this ratio based on the set up notes. So you can take it for what its worth we plan on testing all 3 karts on Sun. and if your not there I’ll let you know our results. By the way one of my boys(Connor) is switching to JR 80’s look forward to seeing and racing with you this coming season.

ParticipantI can’t help you Nicole because we have only run Icc in the shifter there but seems like a little lower ratio than the spec moto would be a good starting point. Maybe Welch, Kistler, Waterman or some of those guys can give you a good starting point.

ParticipantThe 15/25 sounds close in the counter clock wise direction, and I would add 1 rear tooth the other way.
We never had the opportunity to run the 80 at The Track because Jim was too busy drinking greenies and Matt went into the 125 class.
This should be a close starting point Nicole and Conner. Have fun, those 80’s are pretty fast.
