ParticipantRick:
That’s it, my Mom’s coming here in June. You might wanna go on vacation…
Road:
Wheelhouse; as in mentally getting to you and affecting your performance. As in, “With Tiger in the tournament we’re all playing for second place.” And while we’re in the subject of english… if it were snowing this sunday we’re bound to stay at home. See the difference? Are they teaching English in school anymore? It’s like your syl a bles are in the ina ppro priate plaaaaaa ce. Talk to your english teacher…Finally: The censors have conferred, debated, and gestulated. My Avatar is approved! Of course, Southern Churches are already forming protest groups. Jerry Falwell wants a nationwide boycott. Bob Jones University isn’t thrilled but has admitted first amendment rights. Avatar art to a new level, coming soon…

ParticipantThey teach “American English” here which is significantly different from “Brittish English”.
Well, actually I’m not sure they really teach much American English either :idn:

ParticipantWell, it’s clear where we’re headed. It took 6,000 years to evolve from hieroglyphics to a complete written language. In only 20 years, we’ve devolved almost enough to completely reverse all of that effort. Except now we call the the hieroglyphics “emoticons”.
In other “words”: 😯 :loony: ❓ 👿 :argue
