    Tony,

There is no guarantee a photographer will show up to each event. The way to get them out is to buy something. If it is worth their while, they might show. It can be a labor of love but at some point it’s still a business. Think about it, spending a whole day out there working, that means they really don’t get to enjoy the races as a spectator, or spend a day having fun. It has to have some sort of return.

Maybe someone will post some personal photos, but the timing and vantage point a photographer is going to capture is not the same. Don’t know how they catch that moment, but they sometimes do. And it’s pretty cool. But pro photogs don’t show at every race. You may be spoiled already!

I’ll get a disposable next time Tony.

There was a photog at the IMI race. He came up to me after the race with one of those ‘key-chain viewer’ thingies (sorry not sure how else to describe it). Anyway I was able to view the proof via the pocket viewer and ordered an 8×10. This was a different guy, not Mitch, he said he has no online viewable proofs. His analog version worked for me. He got a good pic of me with two karts behind…they must have been lapping me or otherwise just patiently waiting to pass, hahahahah.

    Kirk,
Let me know how the 8X10 works out for you. We ordered from him in the past and it takes about 4-6 weeks, plus the quality was very poor when blown up to that size.
His key chains are very cool, we have a whole drawer at home full of them, and grandma has about ten hanging on her car keys to show off at tea.
We quit buying from him because all he takes is Matt racing his shadow. We want to see action shots of trading paint, hole shots, passes, group racing shots… He always has reasons for not taking action shots, but we are done buying solo pic’s.
The new on-board stuff is working out well for our post race memories. So far the helmet cam has been a great investment.

    And…..they were Kid Karts :driver

The key chain things look so much more brilliant than the photo’s for sure. I do have his business card because the first time I ordered, I thought I got stiffed. (it took a long time) Then before ordering again, I needed contact info from him, which he provided. If Tony or anyone needs it. I believe he is out of Dillon.

Ouch…luckily I am not too proud to mock myself…and have others do it for me. That was funny, Rick.

    Kirk,

As usual, your sense of humor is appreciated. But I really think we should get your crew chief out there. She is soooo cute and may just have a little something for the boys. :money
