ParticipantHey Brad squash some rumours over here please.
The National Enquirier says that Jack got robbed by a frenchmen (typical french) and that Princess Stephanie’s chasing Sam. As for you I’ll PM you to see if it’s true….
By the way, I didn’t know that donkeys had unmentionables 😆
Kick some butt over there, we wanna see photos…

ParticipantRich,
Good to see you back. Was that rust I saw flyin off you when I went by? 8)
I think we’ll see even more in TaG Masters come next year(the spectators class, the class that demands 20 lap mains, the class that gets no love)

Was the real reason the racing didn’t go on over the fact money was already collected, last race of the year etc.?
Jim can answer for himself but being a driver himself I think he too wanted to race, period.
Let’s reflect for a minute here: The CSC is a club race on steriods, period. The proof is in it’s actions. Don’t confuse our WANTS with IS. That said, the CSC can move forward and improve and it appears the things that need addressing are two main items. 1) Write a more restrictive and encompassing rule book. 2) ENFORCE the rule book.
It was a great season and I’m glad it’s over. I’m also looking forward for next year and (hopefully) continual improvement!
BTW… The best race of the day a lot of you missed and that was watching the shifter “free for all” after the day was called. Kyle Ray’s starts are something to learn from (I think he passed roughly 6 drivers at the start alone) and watching the faster guys who started at the back pass their way to the front was pure pleasure! And seeing over 20+ karts on the track at one time was a thing of beauty!
Hope everyone got home safely and don’t forget to DRAIN THE WATER OUT OF YOUR ENGINES, it’s going to be a very cold week especially in the evenings. No need to replace those cylinders if you don’t have to.

ParticipantHar Dee Har Har Har…
My bookie says over under is 18 but load up on the over. You’ll pay vig if you take the under! And the high speed reverse passes aren’t on the board…
I performed an exorcism on my kart so the gremlins are all gone. It’s had an attitude adjustment and so has the driver.
Plus, I’ve got my lucky tiger striped male marble bag for added speed and luck… :woohoo I figure the visual you all have right now is worth a second a lap 8)

Overcast and cool perhaps but look on the bright side, the engines will be producing more power with the cooler weather!
Told you I had a good bookie… And what color are Kathy Sabine’s eyes???

ParticipantI’ve got a great idea!
Let’s just throw out the rule book and race, all we’re racing for is a plastic trophy and a postition in the championship who cares about if we finish number one, two, or seven?!
G, let’s go find some off road tires and we’ll just cut the track in half or better yet, let’s pretend that we’re going to adhere to the track design that Jim paid big bucks to have designed and paved and you and I will use the cutout on the main straight! Think of it, we’ll set the track record for fastest lap and when everyone else realizes what we do, they’ll still be half a lap BEHIND us! Yea, that’s the answer!
G, better yet! I’m going to get a wankel engine on my chassis and race my class. Obviuosly the rules don’t count since they change all the time. Won’t my class be BLOWN AWAY when I pull out in a TaG kart with 48 HP. I’ll take P1 by just mashing the gas pedal and coast through the corners. NO ONE WILL PASS ME!!! Yea, that’s the answer!
And the Kids in Kid cart can use their Modified Comers vs. the stock Honda’s. They both have 50cc so what’s the big issue. Yea, that’s the answer!
And Junior 80 class, get those blueprinted, balanced, ground, keyed Briggs and show em what a REAL motor does. Yea, that’s the answer…
And I’ve got a set of Vega Whites! They’re real sticky G, you can have my other pair. Your corner speeds will be SO much faster! Yea, that’s the answer!
This is an outlaw series, we don’t need a rule book! We’ll be like Calvin and Hobbs playing baseball, the rules change ALL THE TIME! Yea, that’s the answer!
…Don’t let character and integrity change just because there’s a little heat in the kitchen, I thought our group was better than that. What kind of an example are we teaching the kids out there? The next thing someone will tell me is that it’s okay to shoot and harm innocent kids; that the man was experiencing difficulties and life wasn’t kind to him and he just couldn’t handle the heat so it’s okay to bend the rules; let him out of prison; this was an isolated incident; it won’t happen again….
Drastic examples I’ll admit but can you see how crazy this is? Hits home, doesn’t it?
Rules are there for a reason. Sometimes it’s not fun to adhere to them….

ParticipantIan,
Good job, thanks!Rich,
We’ve seen more rolled black flags this season that previous and the flaggers are doing a great job, constantly improving.Ian, do I get a KK for brown nosing? 😆
Mike Jansen
ParticipantIan:
As always great explanation! Although you did forget the rolled black flag that is used at times. Could you please explain too…
See you Sunday or sooner, keep up the good work and I don’t think Scooter’s coming along. She’s got rabbit fever and I don’t want her chasing them all afternoon.

ParticipantThis is the beauty of it! Here we are, big fish in a small pond and when we have the OPPORTUNITY to compete against a National competitor it allows us to reassess ourselves and get an honest evaluation, the results and times are the truth so to speak.
Over the 4 years of competing I’ve seen the AJ Noud’s, Joe Janowski’s, Bobby Wilson’s, Lorenzo Mandarino’s and now a Nick Neri in the Junior class. Enjoy the challenge everyone and take advantage of it (if you can or care to)

ParticipantYour Honor:
Let the facts show that I was tired of my Rotax and I wanted another future boat anchor.
I have, since purchase of a new Motri (actaully your honor let the record show that it is a MOTORI 7, the most powerful engine in the world and could blow your head clean off with its massive acceleration you have to ask yourself, do you feel lucky? Well do you… punk?)
I will continue to use said Motori through the season’s remainder and will not be jumping off the bandwagon of said engine.
Counsellor, your witness…

ParticipantRick,
I think he was watching too much Austin Powers, the Scott and Dr Evil scene where Dr Evil wants his son to shut up.
Zip it; Ziple etc etc…
Jim, it’s a funny movie but really try to watch a little bit more variety 8)- AuthorPosts
