ParticipantWe just got done putting the engines on the six karts, it is 9pm. Practice starts tommorow at 1:30pm. Everyone is stoked to the max. The setting for this race is like a dream, we all can’t believe the atmosphere. This will be one unforgetable trip for all involved.

ParticipantHey Brad squash some rumours over here please.
The National Enquirier says that Jack got robbed by a frenchmen (typical french) and that Princess Stephanie’s chasing Sam. As for you I’ll PM you to see if it’s true….
By the way, I didn’t know that donkeys had unmentionables 😆
Kick some butt over there, we wanna see photos…

ParticipantHey Mikey,

ParticipantHey guys,
It rick, this place absolurely sureal! We assembled karts today. The germans are very precision to say the least. Fridel helped us today he has agreat sense of humor even thiugh communication is somewhat limited. My tools got lost and did not show till this afternnon. The boys are ready to rock.Long flight! We had to sit on the side of the runway in chicago due to bomb threat at london heathrow on the way out.
Could have used you big daddy. Mike if I had the money, I would buy you a signed giles helmet. There are shops here with unbelievable artifacts for sale, very expensive though.
The track is wicked, the setting even better and we are goibg to do our best to woop some butt.
We will update later.
Rick

ParticipantThe best news here is that you’re online.
Rick – don’t forget to forward the daily diary from you and Roman. I’ll filter out the adult swim portion before posting. If you have too much for a PM, send it to kfreiburg”at”excite.com. Pictures too.
That goes for the rest of y’all over there also.

ParticipantHey Rick thanks for the thought at least. Gilles, Ayrton, Schummi and Hill (Graham) were demi gods in the principality. Gilles even lived there.
Enjoy the whole experience and let’s see some photos when you have time. Go Americans!
And please, tell “Nuge” to lay off the eclairs and sauces till after he’s finished racing!

InactiveCome on give some reports or are you in the casino too much?

ParticipantKyle qualified 6th, Marc 12th, Jack took out the the fastest driver for Biland in the second qualifiying session which put him back to 5th (way to go Jack!) The rest were out of the top 10. Roman has some great helmet cam. Sams engine was trashed by a wreck and we put a new one on in15 minutes. We are all having a great time here and can’t wait until tommorow for the real deal. 4 10 lap races and a 32 lap main. All drivers will run the main. The top 15 drivers are within a second. The track is challenging and the competition tough. Bumping is the norm, no black flags. The entire course is a techno wall on both sides, blind corners and poor depth perception. Every one is having fun with the crowd lining the fences. You can watch the mains live on the Eurosport channel tommorow!

ParticipantThere are 3 heats run with the staring position determined by your qualifing time (you start the same for all 3) We just finished the first one. Marc went to 9th, Sam to 15th, Jack 21, Seth 22,Kyle and Roman hit the wall and dnf’d. We just got the karts back together for the 2nd round starting in 50 minutes. The pile of broken parts grows with every session$$$$
October 15, 2006 at 5:56 pm #55181Brad Linkus
ParticipantThe 32 lap main: Kyle 7th, Roman 15th, Sam 18th (now we know how he got his last name, there’s a techno barrier with his name on it), Seth 20th, Jack 21st, Marc was taken out the first lap dnf. Over all we all had a great time and I know none of them will forget this week. Total cost of chassis parts trashed for 6 drivers: $2141.60 Euro’s, the memories, PRICELESS!!
