ParticipantAlmost forgot, the Vampire and Oral have a 40mm carb and manifold, different ignition timing (reprogramable at my shop), that boosts HP to 42.

ParticipantThe tenative weights are 360 senior 390 masters 420 heavy. 375 if running one class like we are at New Castle next week. The price of the engines are $4200-$4500. All three engines, the new Biland, Vampire and Oral are available from the importer “Engines 4 Racing”, (IMI Motorsports company). We will have a web site up when I get back from Monaco http://www.engines4racing.com. The engines are approved for the new TAG 4-stroke class by TAGUSA and will be running all on their own as they have too much power to compete with the 2 strokers. These engines ROCK, 34HP, 13,000rpm, sound cool and they last long too!!!

ParticipantVampire is in development of a 250cc 4-stroke shifter based on their TAG engine. Both the Vampire and the Oral TAG engines have two versions, the one currently homologated for TAGUSA is 34 hp with a 30mm carb. You can boost that to 42 hp with a new manifold, 40mm carb and a different program for the ignition module which I can do. The 42hp engine will be used for the shifter version.
If you wait about a year Rich you can buy 3 more Rotax engines cheap and then you can tie your tent down with them.

ParticipantThe future is here, today! The 4-stroke TAG classes were homologated a few weeks ago by TAGUSA. Marty Casey and Dave Larson will be announcing this any day. We are running the new 4-strokes in their own class at the TAG World Finals in two weeks. The new engines are the Vampire, Oral and the new Biland. All of these engines are 34 hp, 13,000 rpm and are available from the importer of all three IMI Motorsports/ Engine Racing LLC. Your 2-strokes are now officially vintage.

ParticipantDoug and I will be at the TAG World Finals that weekend.

ParticipantThe CSC series is the state championship, I see no reason to add another race. If we want to have decent club races we need to put a lid on the CSC events. Add a State championship race on top of the State championship races, Miller, CRE, and we are right back to where we are now.

ParticipantWe are the importer for all three engines, the other engines are singles. The Vampire ran the event last year but was DQed for to large of a carb so they decided not to go this year. A more direct link to the Monaco info: http://www.kart-gp.com/docs/MCKARTCUP06GB_prsentat.pdf
I will have more exciting information coming soon about the new 4-stroke TAG classes and 4-stroke engine program for next season. Vampire info: http://www.suterracing.comBrad Linkus
ParticipantR S Reed at the end of the post is his name, as in Robert. He goes by Bob Reed at the track and everyone knows him as Jed on this forum.

ParticipantThe CSC was started by the 3 legitimate track owners, Stacey, JB and Brad, now there are 4 with Jim. It is still run by the 4 track owners, not Angie. Angie is an employee who does most of the real work and her input and insight is always welcome. The CSC will not be run by the racers or kart shop owners. If George wants to get into the CSC it will be decided on by the 4 track owners that are in the CSC now, not by anyone else. So far George has not contacted any one of us about joining the CSC. George’s plea for a meeting should NOT be looked on as the end of the CSC or the beginning of something new. We will continue the CSC and make minor changes as necessary to make things better. George and Rich make things out to be more desperate than they are. George does not run the CSC and his call for a meeting is only so that he can come prepared to suggest that we all go with his program, the WKA. He will not even discuss what his ideas are on this forum because we all know what they are and have known what they have been for years, this is nothing new. George wants to have a meeting so that the track owners can be run through the ?gauntlet? as he stated. No one will run me through a gauntlet of racers and lobbyist from his club for their own ideals or Georges. George will have to play by our rules if he ever expresses an interest in joining the CSC in the future and he will not dictate how, when and where the founding members of the CSC will have their meetings. All of the CSC track owners are open to suggestions by any racer or shop owner, this has not and will not change but we as track owners will have the final say as to what will or will not happen with the CSC. In our conference call at the beginning of the year we all new that if we had 9 races for the CSC the club races would suffer. At the time we did not know if Jim would have his track done so we decided to just include THE TRACK and see what would happen. This is no surprise Rich; the only surprise is you still do not have a job after a year. Well Jim did finish THE TRACK and what we predicted did come true for the club races and the racers for the most part are only participating in the CSC. Now we are all talking together to define just what we need to do for the CSC and for the club races for next season. We will continue to monitor this forum for input from racers and anyone else that has an OPINION. THE CSC IS ALIVE AND WELL AND WILL BE EVEN BETTER NEXT SEASON AND SO WILL THE CLUB EVENTS!!!

ParticipantI have to agree with you both Doug and Rick, the dialog has been started long before this post on this forum and we don?t need to wait for two months to start the discussion. If George has any positive input he should just jump in and start letting everyone know what he is thinking. I also think that the 3 legitimate track comment was a dig at JB so if you want peace with everyone George you are the one who should stop starting new conflicts. You started the conversation after Rich’s Seinfeld post now just tell us what your idea?s are so we can get started.

I have made many suggestions on this forum over the summer on this forum about this subject. Please tell all of us your idea’s and suggestions for next season. I would also like to see comments from JB, Stacey, Jim and Rusty.
