    George,

Where did you get the impression I want multiple engines for JR?s? I only want one engine that is reliable, inexpensive to buy, inexpensive to run, consistent performance, successful history of racing with written rules, no blueprints and if you go by that explanation it?s not a Comer 80.
The yes or no question is from the small amount of karters that went to these private meetings which all have Comer 80 engines, what engine do you think they want everyone else to run, Briggs? If a group of Briggs karters had their own meeting what engine do you think they would want, Comer 80?s?
I do listen to MY customers and they have told me what they do not want. They do not want to spend a lot of money to be competitive. They do not want to compete with their checkbook. They do not want to deal with cheaters. They do not want to work on their engines every few races. They do not want the same kid winning every race.

Concerning the meeting: You can make some of the people happy all of the time, you can make all of the people happy some of the time, but you cannot make all of the people happy all of the time. We have a meeting every year and this one is going to be no different.

The five people who attended your meetings are the only ones who have heard only some of all the possible engine choices available to the JR’s. The five who attended are considerably less than the 34 names you have on your list. Why don?t you list all of the other possible engine packages that are available for the JR?s, the pros and cons for each. It is not as simple as a yes or no answer for the one engine choice you have made. By asking for a vote in this manner is certainly a manipulative way to influence this decision. I for one do not agree with your approach to this important issue.

I?ll let you in on some top-secret information. The mushrooms you have been picking in the woods are not for your salad. Is this idea from the same person that insisted on renting VIP tents at the last GGP for $2000 to keep the empty chairs from getting sunburned?

    The Benevolent Dictator,
    or one of them anyway.

Mike still owes me commission on sales of at least six mini-cup cars, and a $600+ plastic body he has not returned for my mini-cup car. The trailer you bought is not even his, he had a loan on it and you will not get the title until it is paid. It has probably been reported stolen by the loan company!!

You should find the pictures of the vintage karts, the worlds oldest shifters and other assorted oddities.

I am the only one in Colorado that I know of that has designed and built a chassis from the ground up for racing that actually worked and won races. Unless you are very good at fabricating, TIG welding moly, machining, bending moly tubing, building a jig, drafting, and have a lot of spare time on your hands, I would not waste my time and money. Just asking the questions you are asking I would say not a good dream. Try building something in shop that you can finish before you graduate, something simple will even take you a while to build if this is your first project.

The 32 lap main: Kyle 7th, Roman 15th, Sam 18th (now we know how he got his last name, there’s a techno barrier with his name on it), Seth 20th, Jack 21st, Marc was taken out the first lap dnf. Over all we all had a great time and I know none of them will forget this week. Total cost of chassis parts trashed for 6 drivers: $2141.60 Euro’s, the memories, PRICELESS!!

There are 3 heats run with the staring position determined by your qualifing time (you start the same for all 3) We just finished the first one. Marc went to 9th, Sam to 15th, Jack 21, Seth 22,Kyle and Roman hit the wall and dnf’d. We just got the karts back together for the 2nd round starting in 50 minutes. The pile of broken parts grows with every session$$$$

Kyle qualified 6th, Marc 12th, Jack took out the the fastest driver for Biland in the second qualifiying session which put him back to 5th (way to go Jack!) The rest were out of the top 10. Roman has some great helmet cam. Sams engine was trashed by a wreck and we put a new one on in15 minutes. We are all having a great time here and can’t wait until tommorow for the real deal. 4 10 lap races and a 32 lap main. All drivers will run the main. The top 15 drivers are within a second. The track is challenging and the competition tough. Bumping is the norm, no black flags. The entire course is a techno wall on both sides, blind corners and poor depth perception. Every one is having fun with the crowd lining the fences. You can watch the mains live on the Eurosport channel tommorow!

Fridel helped us today he has agreat sense of humor even thiugh communication is somewhat limited. My tools got lost and did not show till this afternnon. The boys are ready to rock.

Long flight! We had to sit on the side of the runway in chicago due to bomb threat at london heathrow on the way out.

Could have used you big daddy. Mike if I had the money, I would buy you a signed giles helmet. There are shops here with unbelievable artifacts for sale, very expensive though.

We just got done putting the engines on the six karts, it is 9pm. Practice starts tommorow at 1:30pm. Everyone is stoked to the max. The setting for this race is like a dream, we all can’t believe the atmosphere. This will be one unforgetable trip for all involved.
