ParticipantOn gas you only need one jet and use the needle to adjust the mixture. If it is too rich or lean it will not come up to temp. Or if it is missing, bogging, cutting out there are other things to look at. The spark plug, the diaphragm, the fuel holes behind the jet for blockage, an air leak between the carb and tank, an air leak from the end cap of the carb.

ParticipantNever been there, I know it is a short track. You have a tachometer so keep the rpm below 5700 on the longest straight for a flathead Briggs. I would guess about 4.5 to one to start.
