Mike, now I think we are seeing eye to eye. It is much harder to explain feelings and rehash events with just a key board to work with.
You have one up on what you read on e-Karting news, if you seen what happened at Bandimere, you saw it happen to a guy with over twenty years of experiance racing karts. 😆
No matter what happens at the last race, I allways look forward to the next race.

Benelli, If you need some help, I would be glad to try.
There are many ways to get you going, yet I would be most interested in feeding your hearts wishes at building the little motors. You could come up to my shop and I would be glad to add you with my equipment to get a motor or two fixed up and on the track.
James posted lots of good info. Craig Mansfields 4 stroke karts may allready be sold? but if not he has a 92 TNR margay which is the same chassis I have been using for 12 years now with a little bit of success.
I will say, Summit/Clements quality control and customer relations left me with a bad tast in my mouth and a skinny wallet.
If you are determined to have a four wheel disc brake chassis, which would be of no use in the animal class, Wayne McGreger has been advertizing a Tractor magic shifter chassi for $800.00 which seems to be a good deal, even if we took off the front brakes and relocated the rear bar.

Yep, The main point is to try and make things safe and fun.

“IMHO, the offending pilots were shown a rolled black flag weren’t they? The officials are human beings and do sometimes make mistakes but not so in this incident.”

Me being one of the pilots involved during a pass made on a lapper in corner number 1. I am sure I didn’t have the same veiw of the infraction as Bobby or the spectators.
It is in the past and we are lucky nothing real bad came of it.
Yet to rehash it. From my understanding Larry got the rolled up black flag. I didn’t? I was however passing on the inside of the lapper, which forced the lapper to outside which put him in contact with Larry. This left Larry in a bad postion of which I could not see any longer as I was gone. I then aquired a healthy lead untill I killed my motor from locking it up when I meet a nother lapper in a spot that I could not pass with out “punting” them in the rear bumper, which gave Larry the win. I find out after the race that Larry is now a Stupid Punting Bad Apple. When in my veiw, I really started the chain reaction with a pretty clean pass. Maybe I should be called the Stupid Punting Bad Apple and given a Black flag for passing a lapper in a race.
My point is just like the officials being human and possibly making a poor dicision from time to time, We Pilots are human too and deserve the same human respect when we make a split second incorrect racing judgement.

The key chain man did tell me that the photo in the key chain is the negative of the picture, so you could take it to anyone to have a larger print made.

Good point Superslow. I am glad to admit that most of my gripe is more on the grounds of liability rather than safety. It’s not that saftey is not just as important to me, yet when racing or even driving a car on the streets we all have to live with the odds of an accident possibily happening.
I may be a little dumb here, yet I don’t like or understand the liability odds of adults racing or driving with non-adults, if or when something happens like an accident the adult is the only legaly libel person involved.
It mat be :bs: to some but I want to have  with all the kids parents instead of :argue . … 🙂

Sorry Mr Elliot, The safty of the Jr. racers is not B.S. and now is a better time to discuss it rather than after something bad has happened.
Heck, put the adult 4 stroke class at the back of the adult master TAGs. At least that would solve the adult verses Jr. liability issue that I am concerned with. I could handle haveing a bunch of fat old adults mad at me rather than a linch mob of Mom’s and Dad’s. 🙂

Mike, If I wasn’t concerned about it, I wouldn’t have posted about it.
This is exactly why I am concerned. Threats towards me or other adults that are being forced to run with the kids?? Even the comer kid class had some racing incedents happen during the race. But if there is an adult involved in the incedent then it’s totally the adults fault, right?
I am glad my post got your attention, however your judgement of my mentality is incorrect. I attend the races to race, but when CSC runs the adults and Jr’s togather I am forced into having the same liabilities as a baby sitter has while exsposing your child to a very dangerous enviroment. I don’t think there is a form that I signed to take on that responceability, plus I don’t want to exspose myself to that liability.
Really we booth are wrong if we let this continue. I am wrong for going on the track with your children and you are wrong for allowing them on the track with me.
I didn’t see you come on here and bring up this issue, then you say my attitude is bad for doing so. Gee Thanks. 🙁

I had a good Day, could have ended up a lot better 🙁
I hope there will not be problems in fewture races in my class of senior 4 strokes. I am guessing that I am not liable if a Jr. racer gets hurt while racing in my senior class. Larry and I were in hot pursute fighting for who was going to win, when poor #10 became a cone for me to use against Larry while making a pass. I heard Larry got a rolled up black flag as well as a chewing from the Jr.’s parent. It could have been me instead of Larry and we were very lucky it didn’t turn out worse than it did for #10.
Racing is dangerous, we all know that. A few adults racing each other and one of us gets hurt, I can handle. But I fear the day that CSC has us adults hurting someones child.

To whoever may be intersted. I see a small problem in the mod animal tilly carb no-go rule. On EC tillisons web site the carbs used for the last ten years in the mod classes, like super stock, blue wazom, limited mod in IKF and WKA are only refered to as a .875 venturi. But the tech of them has allways been with a .900 no-go. EC Burt pointed out to me that if the .875 venturi no-go is inforced, that all the tilly carbs built in the last ten years would fail. 😕

I thought my times were pretty good considering the starting temp of quallifing and all the karts spining out. When I had to reach up and wipe off my vissor to see again, I knew I was done making any better times.

Marc, yes you might be able to buy a podium postion in that class too. I would however make you earn it on the track. Not kidding.

One way to enjoy kart racing with out hurting your ribs or pocket book as bad is to race in the briggs classes. 😛
