ParticipantThanks Adam, Angie got me fixed up so I can get back to posting with the limited amount of people that are able to log in here.

ParticipantI have been meaning to contact you Jay….. A.. We had a little problem with your kart on the lake. You might want to bring a fishing pole, rope or something to try and get it out of there. But hay at least it “was” fast.

ParticipantCum on Eddy it’s not like I’m trying to promote any mysteries here. Most people don’t race karts and IMO would be a bit puzzled when they attempt to find out what or where the rules are. :look
We had quite a few dangling and some loss of mufflers in the races last year. With proper shimming and clamping I was able to prevent that, yet I have heard some racers that plan on welding their mufflers on. That is a DQ in this shops rules book, am I wrong or right? :redmen :redmen LOL

ParticipantWhen someone is interested in racing the LO206 at The Track where would they look to view the rules that they would need to follow?

ParticipantJon, In the Briggs rules it states a #95 jet yet then it says the tech is .036″ Go and .039″ No Go.
If the jet does not have to have the 95 stamped on it? The specs allow Briggs 93mm jet which is supposed to measure .0366″..Also the 91mm jet is supposed to measure .0358″ which wouldn’t be that hard to make it .0003″ bigger for the .036″ go gauge to go into it.
So IMO following the go and no go sizes and allowing non stamped #95 jets wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Denver area.
I have been pleased at how well even a stock #95 jet has performed at this elevation. It seems the 6100 rpm limiter and spec timing reduces the need to lean out the motor to get a better fuel/air ratio for higher revs.Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantThis is sort of what I want to post.
Hay, no problem, Roy and I will practice to see what’s fast. Of coarse you can save the trouble and just ask what set up works best and we’ll help you even though you can’t get off your app and do it yourself.

ParticipantCory Thank you for sharing your home work here. I now understand your concerns. Please understand that I started racing high performance karts before karts were designed to be high performance. Do you think that Aspen Ice karts will allow snow hogs if my group of snow hog abusers get a chance to race there? Why have a 900ft straight for ice racing? IMO anyone can drive straight on ice. 😛

ParticipantCory, have you used these tires yet? Have you tried these yet? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/131335437363?lpid=82
I hope we get a chance to compare them together sometime this winter.

ParticipantYep, it sure is Jon. A big Thank You to all that work to make it happen @ The Track

ParticipantO come on Eddy at least tell me what times it ran. Don’t be shy, every race has to have a slower guy in it, that makes the fast guy fast. :win

ParticipantThanks, I found the axle molester.

ParticipantRichard, I am guessing we’ll have the same classes we always have.
Slow class
Low class

ParticipantIt’s odd that over the last 7 years of using my transponder and mylaps I have never had a loss of results being posted on that site. Did Lois Lerner get a new job in timing and scoring of kart races?
I am also wondering who owns thecoloradokarter.com and would they be interested in selling it?
Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantI hope to see Joe, Jon, Greg and all the other slow-fast Briggs racers at SBR and IMI.
You sure have some nice bait on the line Zack. :stir- AuthorPosts
