If the interest keeps up maybe we could see a dual 206 class next year?

Thanks Eddy, I kept my cookies and the link worked today, yet just like SKUSA I now know the dates, I just don’t know where I am taking my date to. 🙂

It would also be nice to eliminate the pipe of the week club and confirm what pipes will be allowed and which muffler if any is required. I think the Briggs spec pipe may have some issues with the exhaust melting plastic rear bumpers on some set ups?
While trying to utilize older karts the need to up date at least the rear bumper and possibly the side nerf bars. Are we going to follow any sanctioning org. that spells out some chassis rules such as width rules, placement and tubing wall thickness?

If a spec tire is mandated, I would suggest to allow Scott Falcone used tires in the program. Only 5″ wheels allowed should be in the rules as I have found 6″ wheels and tires to be faster. I really don’t see the need to spec a clutch either, as the fastest time around a track in a Briggs I have found is when I ran them direct drive with no clutch. The only 206 failure I have seen was from one of them newer clutches that have too short of a key out on the end of the shaft that broke the key way on the crank. That was at kids weight. Old Noram and Horstman clutches work just fine.
Being easy on the rules during the birth of an adult industrial 4 stroke class IMO would be best this year.
I can’t commit myself to race the 206, but I will help someone that would like to race the one I have.

I might have thawed out a bit, but the lake is still Frozen. I haven’t seen any thing on here about the CJKC racing this year either Stacey. Is the sun suppose to shine good this weekend?

We have a verity of track conditions from smooth wind blown slick ice like when we raced at the Zamboni prepped indoor hockey rink Budweiser Event center to snow covered, too high to play in areas.
Most of the karts were geared for short oval racing rather than longer sprint tracks like the beauty you have going on. I bet your near the same gear ratio as the Grand Junction track?
I hope that some time I’ll get to show you the advantage I think I have seen with a narrower taller softer gripper knobby tire on smooth ice. When a number of karts run on a smooth track it gets rutted up in the corners rather quickly.

Well we had a chance for a special warm sunny day at a high mountain frozen lake with free tires, free fuel, free karts, and free track time yet nobody showed up. I’m gonna eat some worms. 😕

Cory, We have most of the karts fitted with snow hog snow blower tires and 5/8″ sliver rocket racing screws. One kart has my old style mad max chains and spikes.

Hi Cory, Your video was assume. I would like to invite you and others interested to a play day at the Kenosha Trout Club this Saturday. It looks like the weather may be in our favor to allow for it to happen. Roy Shriner and I have 7 different karts shoed up for the ice that will fit adult sized drivers that would like test out the frozen water. The lake is at the end of CR58 off the east side of Kenosha pass and Hwy. 285. Call me @ 303-838-19fortyone for more info and time.

We are being told that the 206 class being considered for running at The Track this season is just that, a 206 only engine package exclusive class.

That’s nice. Is it also one exclusive class no 15 and under, or no 15 and over, no over 350#, no under 350#, No clones, no Honda’s, no Flatheads, no Tags?
If a track can only allow one more class during a race day and wanted to get the most karters possible interested in trying that class, another 1 exclusive class IMO isn’t going to do it where as 1 Bracket racing class could turn all the NOs into YES.
The Lo206 is great, I need to freight train a couple of them on a kart some time.
