ParticipantThe title speaks for itself, we ordered a lot of parts so we will be racing to try things out.

Well, Ben, looks like you’ll be on your own for this one. Well maybe. Well probably not.
I won’t be racing, of course, but I will be there.
Hoping you put on another one of those Ben-Blows-the-Top-End-Clean-Off shows for us. Not really. That would suck out loud. But I have to say that your blowing up that BW last summer at IMI was one of the damnedest things I’d seen in a long time.
Hope you do good and go home in one piece.
See you then.

InactiveI will be there with the rest of the cycles. Yes cycles! They will be on the card with the karts. :bs:
That track is too small for the bikes, dangerous for these cycles–it is a kart track and nothing else.
Have them race on Saturday.
I wonder how long the race day will be and how packed the pits will be? Get there early or you will be parking in the south 40.

InactiveActually I believe the south 40 will be taken up by an atocross that is running there that day. Sounds like Bandi will be the place to be on the 4th! ( or not…) Unfortunately I have to work 🙁 but I hope to hit the next race so I can start meeting some of you! Good luck all- and have fun!

InactiveI was going to race but I dont have the kart up to class weight yet.
I will stop by to watch though….

ParticipantSpencer, there is enough time between now and then to drill holes in rocks and mount em up. Hope you are kidding about just going to watch when all you need is a little weight on the kart.
I do like to hear the bikes running. It’s easy to hear them when they spin out. Outch!

InactiveTried to make it out there but about half way there, I turned around b/c it started snowing HARD.
Did you guys get the full day in? I’d like to hear some results/times.

ParticipantWell, we only got half of qualifying done becasue of the snow :bs:
Idk, I qualified first in TAG sr. I think, because I heard that the two karts in front of me were Jr. So don’t quote me:). My fastest time was a 56.44.
But other then that I really don’t know, not that great of turnout, but a lot of new faces in the pits 😀
The bikes, kinda dissapointed me, they went on the asphalt then went in the dirt, and jumped onto the track, bringing dust all over. 😕

ParticipantWell after the blizard during my qualifying most people loaded up and went home. Then the sun came out and I won the race. :bs:
Really Blink did well Sunday, we all went in and gave up our money and then left.
But me, being a cheep wodd, hung around untill I heard that we will be credited at the next IMI race.March 29, 2004 at 4:11 pm #46585Angie MacEwen
ParticipantWell, I never got the results (what few classes did get qual in) to print. I think I just figured out the excel file, so will post those times here shortly.
Ben, actually one of the karts faster than you was a Senior, too. Brian Carelli had the fastest time at 56.124, and then Corey with a 56.218, and Schermerhorn next with a 56.431. Like I said, I will post the rest in a few minutes!!

InactiveI was in the last group on the track for qualifying as it was starting to really snow. It was a little nerve racking and I felt really unsafe out there because I couldn’t see throuh my visor and forget about any kind of traction. I was more than happy to call it quits. Besides by the time it stopped snowing and the track dried it would have been kinda late for the actual racing to start. 😕
I wasn’t real thrilled about the bikes being there either. At least the track was swept after they were out there :rotate: .

ParticipantWell, thats why I said don’t quote me 😀 . Thats cool!
March 31, 2004 at 1:53 pm #46588Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantI thought my times were pretty good considering the starting temp of quallifing and all the karts spining out. When I had to reach up and wipe off my vissor to see again, I knew I was done making any better times.
