Participantthey probably do have karting on Mars. But you have to have more lead on the kart than normal :lo

Mike Jansen
ParticipantRich,
I am confident that the wieghts will be the same as last year so us heavier guys have a chance against you lihgtwieghts. Besides, you all need to build your biceps anyway 🙄
Mike Jansen
ParticipantDoug,
Just make sure Dennis doesn’t send it to you COD 😆 😆
Dennis,
I hope you didn’t include any illegal fuel in the tank

ParticipantLadies and Gentlemen,
Scott Jessup was a great educator wasn’t he? If you are using anything OTHER than a Mychron for data acquisition then you need to have your head examined, seriously ❗
Scott, thanks for the “one on one private tutoring” friday afternoon. I really appreciated your time since i needed to leave early on Saturday.
To everyone, I apologize the room was so cozy, I didn’t realize we’d have the turnout we did but I think everyone got friendly didn’t they?

ParticipantIf memory serves me correctly weren’t we an outlaw series that was going to follow the rules but not exactly mirror the SKUSA, WKA etc, etc rules? Sounds like we’re doing that, doesn’t it?

ParticipantI want to throw in my 2 cents worth and say that i am not hanging out at the krispy kreme!
I like the +20 TAG rule since it gives us naturally heavy and lean guys a chance to race against a larger and balanced field. I am eating salads without dressing and tuna and unless i cut off a leg I just ain’t making 365 . My wife says I smell like a fish (don’t go there)
As for the tires, I’ve raced yellows @ Action and YHC’s everywhere else and i find that they are pretty balanced but the yellows do NOT last as long in racing trim as the YHC’s. So, if i am at JB’s I’ll pick up yellows and @ IMI YHC’s. Unless rules dictate otherwise. Also, I do like the staggered start as suggested. I don’t need someone in Jr class making a last lap banzai move (and it will happen) on me only to realize after we’re both off the track that the pass wasn’t producing a result in the standings.
That’s my 2 cents, I’d like to hear yours…

ParticipantThat’s not the rumour I heard! The Rumour I heard was you had an appointment down South in Trinidad for an “identity” change. Can you either confirm or deny this please. 😉
😆

ParticipantYes thanks for the Pizza and Drinks.
I especially want to thank you all for changing the wieght of the TAG Sr class to 400 pounds for the sonic, lepurds and Belands 😀

Participant27 since that was the number Gilles Villenueve ran (one of the greatest drivers never to win a world championship) and I really liked Gilles. He was the epitome of cool, fast and lover of life. 8)

ParticipantDennis,
You know what I liked most about racing you last season? Was When i beat you both races at Action Karting last year cuz other than that you SMOKED my a**! 8)
I am going to miss seeing you race day and the days we went out and practiced.By the way, did you ever CLEAN your kart last year?? 😈 Even my Dad noticed. But like I told him, “he’s number 1 so he must be doing something right, other than that illegal fuel!” 😀 😀

ParticipantGentlemen (and I use that term loosely)
I want to race against the total class (TAG SR)
I loved the layout last year pertaining to age, weight etc.
I cannot get down to 385 or anything less than that so i would like to see the same weights as last year (sorry Rich 😥 ). My reasoning is for the competition.
I do agree with Rich (I’ll bring it up at the meeting) as for some sort of mark to let everyone know who the “rookies” are. They do it at Indy, why not with CSC (the finest competition anywhere). Last year I wouldn’t have had a problem being singled out as a rookie. Let people prove themselves first then they can lose the blue “x” over thier number plate or something like that.Mike Jansen

ParticipantSome of you were still in diapers when the true age of driving was in formula one. Check out a race in the late 70’s and the 80’s when PASSING was occuring on a regular race basis (not just when a car was in the pits)
Here are a few names that still resonate awe to many.
Villenueve (Sr); see his qualifying at monaco in the wet when he was 2.5 seconds quicker than the next driver
Prost; sooo smooth he looked like he was slower till you looked at his times!
Mansell; check out his pass on Berger at parabolica at Mexico (alas a race no longer run)Mike Jansen
ParticipantI am in.
