Scott Jessup is the technical support guy from AIMSports, and yes, he has offered, and is planning, on coming out here to do a workshop for us. It looks like it will be early Feb, maybe late January; probably a half day seminar on a Saturday, maybe 8am – noon, with Scott staying available after that for more specific questions. Curt Kistler has offered a place to hold the workshop, too ( this was his idea to begin with!) So, what I need now is for all of you who are serious about attending such a workshop to let me know! This way, I can make sure that you keep informed, and also have an idea of the number interested. I know that many of you have expressed interest to Curt, but maybe you could drop me an email to let me know, also. It may help Scott if we can let him know which system you have, as well.

Any more news on a date, place or the such?
If there is a problem with the location I might be able to help

If a location is a problem I have a 100 person capacity conference room in my office building that is empty most of the time. We would have carte blanche, all I need to do is reserve it.

The positive is plenty of room and it’s close to my house and office 😆

The negative is that I live and work in Longmont so it would be farther away than most of you would like (Angie and Rich Vito wouldn’t mind I imagine 😆 )

We have the place, just need the date. It was going to be in late January, or early Feb. Waiting to get that date in ink.

Doug and I are currently working on a seminar that will be hosted right after the Holidays. This seminar will be especially helpfull for new karters, or karters that would like to learn more on chassis set up, motor tuning, tires, kart maintenance, rules and track etiquette’, or anything else the attendees want. It’s also an opportunity to get off the sofa this winter and get to know some of the folks you see at the track, but are too busy to chat with.

Mike, we may need to use your facility for that one just to mix things up.

    Thanks,
    Curt Kistler

In trying to schedule a date, we needed to avoid a conflict with the annual ‘big meeting’ at IMI. The tentative schedule for the AIM workshop is on Saturday, February 7, at Curt’s location in Englewood (as much as I like Mike’s offer to move it to Longmont!!) The date is not quite set in stone… I will post the info as soon as it is available!!

    Thanks,
