Hopefully I can meet some of the local karters. 😀

InactiveWait just a second.
Hold the durn phone.I just found out that it is….snowing?!?!?
No one ever mentioned anything about that!I’m sorry to announce that the seminar has been cancelled due to very cold weather. 😆
Actually, I am looking forward to a little variety. All we have here is two climates….”hot and dry” and “not as hot and dry”.
We’ll see you all on Saturday!

ParticipantThank you to Scott for doing such a great job with the class! It was great, I learned a bunch, hope the rest of you did too!
Thanks to Mike Jansen for the room, Curt Kistler for getting the ball rolling and providing the projector, and to Sam Walls for bringing the coffee and donuts!

ParticipantThanks, learned a lot

InactiveScott did a fantastic job of covering a very broad subject. He highlighted the major topics and delved into the important ones. I had three questions written down and I left with all three answered without asking them! Plus I got quite a few more tips and tricks. Also his approach to analyzing laps is very direct and with a little more practice I will be much quicker to locate the important and trouble spots.
Aim Sports has the best product support in the industry. It is a lot better than the support I get from the manufacturer of the business jet that I take care of.
Thanks Scott
Thanks AIM Sports
Thanks Angie
Thanks Mike
Thanks Curt
Thanks Sam (I really didn?t need the doughnut though ❗ , but it was good)PS. I have a method for performing the gear calibration on the stand that has worked for me every time now. If any one is interested I will share it with them

Participantsorry rich, did not take notes, just used what he showed. Angie or Kurt might have what your looking for
February 9, 2004 at 10:01 pm #45496Angie MacEwen
ParticipantRich,
I didn’t take many notes, as several parts of Scott’s presentation were on things that he had already walked me through on the phone. He had his laptop hooked up to a projector, so once the lights were dimmed, we were all following along, duplicating what he did on our own computers. Everybody brought their laptops, and were fighting over outlets! I certainly did learn some new things, though. I would be more than happy to help you out, if I can. Maybe some of your questions are the same ones I had! Otherwise, just call Scott. He will take good care of you.
Did you have a nice trip to Florida? Are you all refreshed and ready to race?

InactiveI wanted to take this chance to thank everyone in attendance on Saturday. I had an excellent time and I easily was able to feel extremely welcomed in a very short amount of time.
You all are a very unique and awesome group of people that I look forward to working with again in the future.
On Sunday, I was able to work with a few of you in person, a few more over the phone, and I will be making retrun phone calls to a few more of you today.
I also was able to make a visit to your local track (very impressive) where I met Brad and his local “wolf pack” that watch over IMI. (Slick, I WILL find the “never ending, self tossing” stick for you to fetch from here to eternity…I promise).I extend my offer once again for anyone that has any further questions or that simply needs me to rehash my whirlwind presentation, to give me a call either here at the office or contact me via cellphone.
I need to extend special thanks to Mike, Curt, and Sam for their additional efforts. Without them, I would have been swamped or sunked.
Finally, I’d like to give my utmost regards and thanks to Angie MacEwen. She is single handedly responsible for bringing this event to surface and her coordination and support was unbelievable. Not many people can keep me on task, but she was able to “bring in the reins” and keep everything on track.

ParticipantScott, thank you for the kind words.. however, you give me far too much credit. Curt Kistler is the one that had the brilliant idea of having some “off season” seminars. He mentioned that one of the topics could be on the Mychron, and I happened to have been currently working with you over the phone getting our system dialed in. It was an obvious solution to suggest that you be the one to help us. I was thinking more along the lines of supplying some materials or something, I admit I didn’t expect you to jump on a plane and come help us face to face! That is truly appreciated, and I think maybe you know how much after meeting some of the karters here.
thanks,

ParticipantLadies and Gentlemen,
Scott Jessup was a great educator wasn’t he? If you are using anything OTHER than a Mychron for data acquisition then you need to have your head examined, seriously ❗
Scott, thanks for the “one on one private tutoring” friday afternoon. I really appreciated your time since i needed to leave early on Saturday.
To everyone, I apologize the room was so cozy, I didn’t realize we’d have the turnout we did but I think everyone got friendly didn’t they?
Mike
