Sometimes people pick their numbers for personal reasons sometimes it’s just because it was already on the kart. I’m always curious to know.

My number is 88. Crazy 8’s. I jokingly picked it so if my kart goes upside down they’ll still know it’s me. 😆

We just asked Cole what number he wanted to be. He was 4 at the time, but he says that he chose it because it is his lucky number. It just so happens that he placed 4th in the Colorado Sprint Championships, too, in 2003 so he has the #4 Junior 1 plate for the 2004 season. 😛

Well when I did race I was #77 because you gotta have the lucky 7’s!!! And it was easier to replace when Nugent forgot he didnt have Brembo’s on his new G.P.!!! 😀

27 since that was the number Gilles Villenueve ran (one of the greatest drivers never to win a world championship) and I really liked Gilles. He was the epitome of cool, fast and lover of life. 8)

when it was time to sign up, I looked in my tool box to see what I had leftover from motorcycle racing days and I had plenty of #3s.

So 33 it was going to be!

31 was my last national # in my motocross days so I kinda stuck with it.

I chose the #80 because that is probably the age I will retire from racing.
