ParticipantJoe, quit running with the Masters, drop 30 lbs off and come run with seniors. I’m old(er) and would like to run with the fattties but not at that kind of lead-level. Seniors is just as fun and has comparably sized fields.

Sorry guys. i would love to race and had a partner but I do not think anyone wants to be on the same track as I am while I am taking pain meds.
Richie…I’ll take your pain meds for you. I’m a team player. 8)

ParticipantRich, you should sell that troublesome Rotax and get an Easykart motor. :sun:

ParticipantDoug, you guys aren’t groupies and this isn’t a midlife crisis. You just had a passion for music and concerts that was ON HOLD while you were being a sorta-responsible adult in the DK era (during kids). Now that your responsibilities are taken care of you can PROBABLY leave Greg at home without him burning the house down with 400 teenagers in attendance. Go have fun..you earned it.
That Miata might be small enought to run at IMI in a shifterkart class. I’ll get you a rainbow sticker for the bumper.

ParticipantWhat time is this Centennial action going to happen anyway?, cause I can be at the track in the morning, and stay no later than 1:00pm.
I’ll be there around 9. Watch for the dominant performer…that’ll be me. OK, a more reliable way of finding me will be to look for the red/white/blue Easykart. See ya there.

I’ll be out on my dominant easykart. I hope the motori drivers won’t feel too bad when I pass them on the straight in my obviously higher-power and faster Easykart.
That’s a Butt whupping I’m going to have to take… On any other day other than the Daytona 500. Gotta see Juan’s inaugural.
Gonna be chilly tomorrow (high of 44) or I’d try for that. What time is the race on Sunday?
Is the Columbian or Peruvian conglomerate of racers going to be there? Eduardo and friends? Or will you guys all be home cheering for JPM in his left-turn big race?

ParticipantSUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!! (Monster truck announcer voice)
57 degrees and sunny…time to knock some dust off and see if my arm will stay in one piece.
Anyone else going to be at Centennial? I’ll be out on my dominant easykart. I hope the motori drivers won’t feel too bad when I pass them on the straight in my obviously higher-power and faster Easykart.
Who’s up for some tracktime?

Kirk: I’ll speak for everyone and ask, are your priorities in order? :idn:
HAHAHAH, I ask myself that all the time…this time I have to prioritize that portion of my life which PAYS for my fun time. Otherwise..there will be NO fun time.
I’m mad. I wanted to try to make all of the club races.
I cant even come stand on the sidelines and watch…my pager will be going off the whole time and I’ll have to be near an interwebs connection. **Sigh**
Maybe I’ll come do time trials the weekend before.(as long as this daggone snow is gone) Then I’ll use my internet clout (HA!!) to force the track owner to use my best time from an empty track time trial as my race lap average (sounds fair, right?). Then we can extrapolate my finishing order and award me the series points that I would have gained!! It is a brilliant solution, you guys just wish you had thought of it first.

HUBS!! (that’s the word you are searching for)
Kirk Deason
Participant…mad!
I just found out that I am on-call for work the day of the first race at Centennial. Sadly I can’t trade off with anyone else in my group while I race. The reason no one will take it for me is because I expect to be up all night working during the time change. Our equipment (VoIP 911 call recording systems) absolutely craps itself and loses its mind during time changes. Soooo…with 15,000 customers., I expect to be pretty busy applying patches and reconfiguring recorders the entire weekend.
Trust me, I’d rather be driving BUT the good part is the overtime that will help pay for some racing this year.

O.k. Kirk,
Who are you calling an “old fat head”? :idn:
That zero cc new fangled job is going to be hard to start!
Look forward to seeing you out there for sure.
Rick
Not you Rick, that was just a dig at the Motoris with the two different volume heads available.
Were the snowbanks gone from the track? Was anyone out today (another warm one)?
Kirk Deason
ParticipantI’m trying to give my wing another 3 weeks to heal…but I’ll be there.
All you Motori guys with your new small heads or old fat heads better watch out. My new-gen Easykart head with 0 cc’s of injected fuel-volume power fetzer is coming to get ya. This year I’m gonna run SLICKS too!
