Mike, we have a clear track and the temp was 60 sat and sunday… I think it will be the same this weekend…

I grew up in upstate NY. North of Syracuse in Liverpool. Back then it was just another walk in the park.

I am sick of it also.

The paper said said 52 for Sunday-of course Daytona 500.

It is snowing in GJ right now. I hope it does not last long and hope for you guys that it peters out before it gets to Denver.

    Good luck.

    Stacey,

I (think) we’ve got enough for our water supply. I wish your side of the divide would get hammered so that Lake Mead and Powell can get filled up some more.

    60’s eh… :idn:

    Mike,

The snow over here has been terrible this year.. We have had to go down south to Creste Butte to Snowmobile on the weekends, there is jsut no snow on the Mesa or Flattops….

Like I said I’m wishing you’d have more. It’s sad to see Lake Mead so low, something like 120 feet if I remember correctly. I remember in the early 80’s that Hoover Dam had the spillway gates raised so that there wouldn’t be too much water going down the river, yet the flow was still 12-20 inches over the metal gates. That’s something I’ll probably never see in my lifetime again. But, you never know.
I hope you get some snow so you can take your sleds out closer to home!

    I’m…….
So happy that dirty old black snow got a fresh new coat of pretty white sparkely snow :loony: 8) 🙂 😮 😯 :sun: 😀 😕 :rotate: :bs:

Sorry you track owners have to go thru this. This winter must absoulty suck for ya. 👿

Anyone interested in opening a new state-of-the-art indoor karting facility? The new electronic Sodi Karts look very cool, and Lord knows, there are an awful lot of empty bix boxes around town. Interested parties should PM me, I have info…….

    … tellin’ ya…

we need a sacrificial virgin even if it’s a bunny rabbit. I think the track owners would help with this one… Like I said, at least we’re not in the midwest or Upstate New York…

    …mad!

I just found out that I am on-call for work the day of the first race at Centennial. Sadly I can’t trade off with anyone else in my group while I race. The reason no one will take it for me is because I expect to be up all night working during the time change. Our equipment (VoIP 911 call recording systems) absolutely craps itself and loses its mind during time changes. Soooo…with 15,000 customers., I expect to be pretty busy applying patches and reconfiguring recorders the entire weekend.

Trust me, I’d rather be driving BUT the good part is the overtime that will help pay for some racing this year.

HAHAHAH, I ask myself that all the time…this time I have to prioritize that portion of my life which PAYS for my fun time. Otherwise..there will be NO fun time.

I’m mad. I wanted to try to make all of the club races.

I cant even come stand on the sidelines and watch…my pager will be going off the whole time and I’ll have to be near an interwebs connection. **Sigh**

Maybe I’ll come do time trials the weekend before.(as long as this daggone snow is gone) Then I’ll use my internet clout (HA!!) to force the track owner to use my best time from an empty track time trial as my race lap average (sounds fair, right?). Then we can extrapolate my finishing order and award me the series points that I would have gained!! It is a brilliant solution, you guys just wish you had thought of it first.

I’ve got a high speed verizon wireless card for a laptop, maybe you can mount one of those vehicle laptop mounts on your kart and you can work while you race!
