ParticipantGarrick,
I would be glad to fix you up. Grants a little drive, but you are sure welcome to bring it up, we’ll scale it out, get ya new needle, and get a handle on your MOJO. 😯 You have got to get out to more than just one race this year no matter what kind of race it is.Jim,
Thanks for the quick reply. The Series last year was Priceless. It was very cheep fun and you deserve a Tip.
Are you going to be a Master this year or do I have to get in DD2 to chase you?Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantGarrick,
Are you going to race the Rotax 6 race series? If it is for qualifying which drivers from this series of races goes to the Nationals, the winners will miss the Nationals if the points chase goes to the last race on 9/27 the week after the Nationals.
The Rmax series running with TAG master last year made the series fun to do even though no winners of the series where awarded and the rules of the series were not adhered to as far as DQ drops implementation’s. I have been waiting to hear how this years Mile high Rmax series is going to be promoted before I jump on board.
How many seats for the nationals are available for each class in the Mile high series?
How are the points awarded?
Drops and DQ’s?
My biggest question is how many Rotax Masters plan on racing The Mile High Series?
I was looking forward to racing Rotax Masters again with TAG Master, was even hoping we could do a little better in TAG Masters with the new D-1 tire in the mix.
Now it looks to me Rotax Master will be a very small class crammed into Saturday mornings for the same amount of expense. I will have to consider racing CRE’s Rotax series at this rate. With the CRE Rotax series and The Mile High Rotax series having no conflicting dates booth series could have been combined to make a more awarding series to a series that now has very little awards for participation.Ya Rick, I am still trying to decide. But hay! I am so glad to be a Colorado Karter with so many great choices to make. There is a lot of Championships up for grabs just in our State. It’s been 8 years sense Craig and I ran 45 races and captured all of them in our class. It’s tempting to go for broke and try it again. At least with the Rotax I wouldn’t have to be building motors every week to do it. But then my Vampire money would turn into more used tires.

ParticipantCurt,
Thanks for the great report. Jay did an awesome job of preparation and driving, where my rig was supposed to be a snow cone maken machine it turned out to be a donut maker instead. I Thank AJ Hathaway for all the help he gave me and Jay during the event too. With a little work we could make next year a bigger show for karts.
Thanks for coming up and cheering us on.Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantI understand it is a separate series of races squeezed into Saturday mornings, yet I still am wondering what is the series for?

ParticipantGet out of the house tonight and watch some indoor ice racing at the Budweiser Event Center. Show starts at 7:30
BE THERE!Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantThanks Jim,
Is the Mile High Challenge a qualifier to go to the Sept. 18-22 Rotax Nationals? If it is how does the last race of the Challenge Sept./27 come into play?
I’ll check out your web site to see if there is more information about a Rotax series. Challenge Saturdays go clockwise?Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantI like Blue too. Seems like there will be a lot of pretty new targets on the race track this year.

ParticipantI think you would run into all kinds of different people in area 51. 😛

ParticipantWelcome to the fun Jim!
You can choose any number but #6 .
Just kidding, Most all orgs. CSC/Club/SKUSA/R-Max use a first come first serve system of disorginization. So I guess the best advice I can give you is to sign up early when you want a certain number. As far as local racing goes take a look at what last years numbers were and try to use a different one.Rodney Ebersole

How bout a Harley Masters class?
Something like a dual 4 stroke Hog class.

ParticipantTerry, That’s cool, but be sure to tell your 3 other guys, they may be up for some fun. At the Event center the races are too short to get cold, you would just need warm gear for waiting to race.
Scare wasn’t the word I had in mind for Kirk, but it would be a good description for the Thong Man if he shows up on here.Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantTerry, Briggs Modified? Your season starts in a couple weeks at the Loveland indoor track. Call them other guys too. http://www.icespeedway.com
That’s what I’m racing so far in the 08 season. I was thinking about being “The Master” again but man that dude in the outfit is sort of turning me off. Next we’ll have that other guy in the g-string saying he is going to be THE MASTER.

ParticipantI don’t know any thing about the new KF’s that are working great overseas. I do know my overseas Chassis parts are not working great with my American pocket book though.
When ever I am at a large event of TAGs and Shifters I am also in a karter made smoke cloud that many “regular” people can’t stand to be near let alone sit in the middle of it before each big event dissipates it around the track. It was my first year going to the SKUSA Vegas race. I really don’t think that neighbor hood is going to allow that 2 stroke convention to take place there many more times before the EPA gets involved with our family sport of 2 smoke racing. The first grid of karts I saw fire up at at Vegas made me think of how good the 4 stroke could be for all of us.
As far as numbers go your comparing classes that are a decade and more old to a class that is an infant.Rodney Ebersole
ParticipantThe 19th is coming quick. Next weekend will be a test and tune day here. It’s not to late to order your silver rockets and be in the show.

If anyone has a blade mounted on a quad and would like to come play next week, that would be great.
I didn’t get a Vampire under my Charley Brown Christmas Tree so I wont be able to show one off to the fans. Can You?- AuthorPosts
