ParticipantWell, as Jim Brown said that’s an a_s whoopin I’ve got to take.
If you get here then great, if not we’ll know who the real “nancy boy” is 😀What size dress should we all be pitching in for? I think you’d look great in a blue dress with small white polka dots. I’ll throw in the first 3 bucks.

ParticipantAh another person to punt… Excellent!
D, like I said the FFK is available. Call Hanna Barbera…
Hope you can make it!

Participanttuners…
Preston look on this fabulous website and go to the GJ link and on their homepage is the information you’ll need
😀

ParticipantBut then you couldn’t your fuel cocktail if the other sanctioning bodies got involved Dennis 8) 8)
You are right about being marketed better. I don’t see why we don’t have (more) racers coming from New Mexico. Utah and the midwest for that matter.
If you build it, they will come. Was the voice really talking about baseball?

ParticipantDennis,
After much searching I’ve found a kart for you to race in the CSC races! Don’t thank me yet 😆
HB Karting in Burbank said that the FFK is now available! William Hanna said that they are astonished by the turnouts Colorado consistently produces in our series. Since the FFK is a kart they would like to promote in this region to counter the GP dominance and the emerging threat of the EasyKart they would let you drive one free of charge. Here’s the catch however: The tires are harder than the MG yellows or YHC’s. And you have to push start it since the batteries are almost non existant but once its going it goes.
Check out the FFK it “rocks”. You can see it on the Cartoon Network. It is prominently displayed on the TV show “The Flintstones” in the opening and closing credits.
William Hanna says to call Hanna Barbera Studios and they would consider it, then forward you to HB karting. The only requirement Bill is adamant about is for you to yell “Yabba Dabba Doo” at the start 8)
By the way, make sure that the Fetzer valve is clean. It is the biggest reduction of power if it’s not clean
8)Yes I want to race Rock Island. I am trying to get everything organized now. PM me and I’ll tell you more.

ParticipantHey Dennis,
I kart do you? :bang 🙁
Get a kart then pop off!
Hey! Since you don’t kart you could run a clinic on gas additives that pass. You could call it “Designer steroids, err Designer gas additives that work!”
😀 :rotate:
Who loves ya baby!!!Mike Jansen
Participant😳
I knew that, Dr Watkins…
I think the car was a Wolf he was driving but don’t know what broke
As for who recommended him it was James Hunt of McLaren who “discovered” how good he was and recommended him.
Correct? Do I get the prize?Mike Jansen
ParticipantGreat commentary Wayne, right on the money. I go to the 500 yearly and when they have a wreck the safety crew is on it immediately, period. Would they have moved quicker if his car was on fire? :idn:
I’ve rewatched the TIVO and I can clearly see a gentleman (and I use that word loosely 8) ) that looks like Sam throwing debris on the track PRIOR to the Alonso and Schuey Jr tire deflations. Sam, do you have anything to say??? I won’t tell, it will be our secret just amonst us

ParticipantDoug,
I previously said I’ll be going south for this event. There have been some changes for me and I will NOT be attending. Sorry for the last minute change of plans.
Mike Jansen
ParticipantI like Dennis’s fuel. A 45:1 IMI fuel to Nitro then a 50:1 “fuel”/ oil ratio….

ParticipantPlease note that when the F1 guys get together to race it is in the direct drive or TAG classes. I think the reason for this is because you learn to drive smooooth, the engine (or gears) can’t bail you out. IMHO I think I am a better pilot since I have learned that being smooth in the entry and exit of the corners is what makes a faster pilot.
Just my .02 😀
Interesting fact about the stock ICC’s, thank you. I just was wondering isn’t it getting old to see so many ICC’s going blammo the route of the HONDA’s and Mercedes in F1…

ParticipantHey Scott,
We are all here to help but you can really help yourself if you go to one of the tracks and ask plenty of questions there. I set aside a piece of paper and wrote down all the questions there and then when i was at the track, asked away. Try it you’ll like it! You missed good action this weekend at IMI. It would have been the perfect opportunity to ask away…

ParticipantSpense…
Since I didn’t run I can’t say but it was just as hot at GJ last race on the Saturday and I was running 151. You sure your water pump impellor (sp?) is okay or the plastic gears that run the counter balance and the h2o pump? Just a thought…

We’re missing you out there! Say hello to your new bride. Will you be running again next year or sooner?
