Just curious,
What water temps were you Rotax guys seeing during the heat and main?
I was getting really high temps (175+) after about 4-5 laps. I know Dane was getting high temps as well.
At those temps, the motor ran like absolute garbage.

Since I didn’t run I can’t say but it was just as hot at GJ last race on the Saturday and I was running 151. You sure your water pump impellor (sp?) is okay or the plastic gears that run the counter balance and the h2o pump? Just a thought…
i just bought a rotax and i need help tuning it. can someone please help me cause i have no clue what to do. thanks for all of ur help.

Plastic Gears are fine.
How exactly can I check the condition of the pump impeller? Never pulled/checked the condition of the pump.

I was up in the low 160’s and the kart ran great.
I was using new water wetter from Preston. I guess it helped.
Of course running 10 and 15 laps didn’t help any.
Ideal temps in the 150’s

If you need tuning help you need to go out to the track when other rotax guys are there and park next to them. I am not sure if I will practice at IMI this weekend.Put out a call on this forum about Thursday and see what responses you get.
One thing for sure read the manual 2-3 times!
#42: if you were out there you would smoke everyone. Just make sure you run the TAG Seniors and leave my Masters class alone-I can’t compete with you. No pack with the devil, I think it is Preston and a little more practicing this year.
Dane—-One helluva race you put on and 50% throttle. You should be a contender at Las Vegas this year!!!! Just a great race!!!!
