ParticipantStacy,
No, and quite frankly I am hotter than a habenero in picante…
I asked for a room with a masseuse (just like last year, one who can walk on my back at the end of the day) and they said that they’re sold out of those rooms!
What’s up with that? :idn:
I gave them the secret code and they said for security purposes you changed the password!!!
See you this weekend, looking forward to racing at your facility!

ParticipantGeorge Et Al,
I hate to rain on your parade but if a kid is weighing 200+ (or some 30 year old) I for one have no problem if they can’t make weight and want to compete.
Roman G is a perfect example. Sure, I hate getting beat by the yung uns but give the kid a chance. Coming off the scales at 405 in a rotax when the rest of the class is at 355, well, you do the math.
Of course, this is my opinion and mine only. It and 2.75 will buy me a cup of coffee at Starbucks…

Participantif you really want rib protection i would strongly suggest AGAINST the Sparco protector. It’s like cotton candy and you’ll be sorry. Spend a little more $$$ and get a good one.
What type kart do you have?
My suggestions are Phoenix (IMI sells them) Shift has a nice one and I had my MP customized (added .125″ lexan over the outside of the rib protector since I pulled right side then left side muscles/ribs/bones in my first year 😥 )
Anyone else???

ParticipantRich,
At least 10 inches BEHIND the kingpin. So you’re safe. Of course, if you and I hit the line side by side then i will beat you since my transponder mount is exactly 10.125″ from the kingpin

ParticipantIf you weren’t at IMI this weekend you all missed a treat.
Bill Elliott (NASCAR)was there signing karts and having fun watching you all race. Buddy Lazier (Indy 500 winner) was there and took out his rotax 250 superkart (now that, was fun to watch scream down the backstretch 8) ) And then AJ (I hope I spell this right) Allmindinger and Justin Wilson (both in Champ Car) were there practicing after the club race. It was fun seeing professional racers enjoying an off day karting, yes karting here in Colorado.
Anyway, If my pipe mount is in wednesday i’ll be practicing that afternoon or Thursday. (Brad, you control my destiny 😀 )
Cmon all you TAG racers, time to get out, test and tune and get ready for CRE this weekend or CSC the following.

ParticipantWhat about bean oil? Rotax engines run on sythetic and not the bean oil. Please clarify this, thank you

ParticipantLadies and Gentlemen:
I might bring to your attention that not everyone has an email address or have a computer. I know of several people who ARE going to race in the TAG Masters class (the class that the spectators love and want to see 20 lap mains for their money) but don’t write on this thread. What I am saying is that the membership/entries aren’t quite that accurate.
We’ll all see come April 17th eh?

Participantall the shops have plates, I know IMI does.
Electrical tape or duct tape will work well for the newbie thing…
Randall, welcome back!

ParticipantAngie,
i wasn’t there but i (always) check ekartingnews.com to see how the colorado boyz (and Girlz) are doing.
You could pay me in deviled eggs, beans and chili on the saturday of race weekends 8)
Then I could leave a trail in the races for Rich to follow!
How many more days till the season starts???Mike Jansen

ParticipantRich,
Make sure you eat well so if I’m in your wind I’m not “in your wind”
Me on the otherhand will be eating deviled eggs and swiss cheese with Chili the days leading up to the race in April.
You’ll be “in the wind” as in downwind!!! I’ll provide a nose plug if you’d like :soap
The season’s only a few more weeks away can’t wait to see you all at the races (finally!)

ParticipantOnce again, TaG Masters is leading registrations. The class that has the best spectators action and demands 20 lap mains! Nuff Said…

ParticipantRusty,
Newbies in class, are they going to have an “x” through their rear plates or on their helmets? This is important to me and others, would you let us know how we’re going to signify a newbie (you might want to put one on Lee Gagna too, he’s a little erratic at times 8) )
