ParticipantIf you weren’t at IMI this weekend you all missed a treat.
Bill Elliott (NASCAR)was there signing karts and having fun watching you all race. Buddy Lazier (Indy 500 winner) was there and took out his rotax 250 superkart (now that, was fun to watch scream down the backstretch 8) ) And then AJ (I hope I spell this right) Allmindinger and Justin Wilson (both in Champ Car) were there practicing after the club race. It was fun seeing professional racers enjoying an off day karting, yes karting here in Colorado.
Anyway, If my pipe mount is in wednesday i’ll be practicing that afternoon or Thursday. (Brad, you control my destiny 😀 )
Cmon all you TAG racers, time to get out, test and tune and get ready for CRE this weekend or CSC the following.

ParticipantMike wasn’t there because Mike’s nursing a “rib issue”
Until I get my custom made Ribtech seat I’ll be at home gardening and playing maid.
And let me tell you, it hurts watching you all when I could be taking 1st

Hopefully my seat will be in wednesday, then I’ll be out there testing. Until then I am still chewing advils like they were from a PEZ dispenser! OUCH!
Anyone wanna buy a 1/4 tillet seat, large??? It’s good if your less than 5’10”

InactiveTake care Mike and Hurray back.
We have some good racing together.
Those rib things take a long time to heal up

InactiveHey Mike, I might be interested. I have an XL freeline in my Easykart right now, and it straight up hurts. I put in inserts and i’m going to see how that goes. If it still sucks, I’ll hit ya up.

ParticipantHey Mike,
You’re going to run CRE this weekend aren’t you? We’ve got to stop the Vito juggernaut.

InactiveCharles,
You know what is going to stop us? Rain is predicted for Sunday! Hopefully down at the South Pole it won’t happen to George again-he needs a break!

ParticipantI just put up flourescent lights in my other two bays in my garage. Today I have a sore side so I’d say it’s a pulled muscle and nothing broke. Not that it matters it still hurts. But now at least I can clean my kart in REAL lighting!

Good luck this weekend guys and gals..

ParticipantGood luck with your pain Mike. You might try eating good food for the ribs that will load protective coatings all over your body.
One of the best places I find it is in the McRibb sandwiches. Also drink plenty of fluids. Mainly the one with built in advil effects, BEER.April 28, 2005 at 9:58 pm #50345Mike Jansen
ParticipantI should ask Ben Schemmerhorn what McD’s sell the McRibb – he’s a McD’s expert!
yea, a good martini and 4 advil really work at night. Of course then i really don’t feel like working on my kart!
😀
