ParticipantThat’s the problem with the truth. It scares people. But the truth will set you free…

Perhaps you should focus on the positives that do exist instead of the perception of disorganization.
For instance:
07) Travel to new cities, stay in hotels, shoot off fireworks, drink beer, smoke cigars, swim in pools and check out the umbrella girls….
08) Watch Bobby the Backmarker and Ian the flagger.
09) Eat brownies and cookies the pit mom’s bake the night before each race.11) Get Cole to smile 😛 That always makes everyone else smile along with him. 8) 😛 😀 😮 🙂 :sun: :loony: 😉
Anybody else got any favorite things to do on race day?
Nobody has more passion than you Rich. Just channel it in the right direction and everything else will fall into place.
7) If you know of some loose umbrella girls would you please let us single guys know!
9) What am I doing wrong?! No one offers me treats. All I get is the offer to buy a greasy burger on day old bread…
11) He smiles? In what decade? 8)12) Bust each others chops when they don’t finish
13) get entertained by the coulda, woulda, shoulda at the end of the day 😉Mike Jansen
ParticipantDrew,
That sounds about right. It was cold and windy there and those that did show up were troopers. I was wearing a dress and Scooter told me she was cold and wanted to go home.
Brad can indulge in the exact numbers…

ParticipantWell Donal that puts things in perspective here doesn’t it???
And is there the whinging and moaning and politics like here??? Or do they just accept it and race???
BTW… It’s going to be 70 this weekend. How’s the snow and wind 8)

Participantlack of driving. The only thing I’m driving is weights at the gym…
Next week starts my season….:driver

ParticipantAustrians can build things but they can’t rebuild things. There’s a difference…
If you want mechanical things and machining, have a Brit do it…
And the French, all they can do is whine, make wine and strike when they don’t like things. And most important, they surrender VERY well….
How they won both championships in F1 I’ll never know. Oh, that’s right they had a Spaniard for a driver!!!
:devil 8)

ParticipantDonal,
How can you be on the streets if it’s freezing in Germany? I understand that the winter will last for another 6 weeks there 8)
Nice and sunny here… But you wouldn’t know what the sun looks like eh?
😀 😀

ParticipantOuch! Hit a guy in the pills when he’s down 😀
FYI Doug… My carb was the only thing that didn’t let me down last year! My kart had a good going through bolt by bolt in the offseason so it’s all good for this campaign.
And you’ll all know me as “finishing 20 Mike”Mike Jansen
Participantconcur with Duff…
A clean carb is a carb that finishes and finishes happyMike Jansen
Participantstacey,
Why was he hauling butt when everyone else was slowing down???

ParticipantI heard that turn one isn’t banked rather that it runs away from the corner ie offcamber(?)(what’s the word I’m looking for?)
Glad to hear it’s another nice track to drive…

ParticipantAttitude = Attitude
Show me a sport that’s perfect and I’ve got land in Florida for sale…
It happens
Like previous posts say, when the season starts more than half the BS stops!
I LOVE my class. We beat each other’s brains out on the track and afterwards we exhibit sportsmanship to the other classes. Maybe there’s something to learn from that.Man, if you hate what’s going on here how do you stomach NASCAR, F1, IRL, CHAMP CARS???

ParticipantDo the rules say I can use a GP chassis? I’m sooooo confused…
Tell Keesling I saw him at the airport boarding to Mexico. I hope he went there to finalize the RULE book and not the BARTENDING book 😆

ParticipantSorry I haven’t responded sooner but the National Inquirer and Star came in the same day as my People and US magazine. Priorities you know… 😀
When I used to sail competitively in Long Beach California we raced in a charter class that were boats used by the skippers of the America’s Cup. The night before the race the commodore of the yacht club would gather 13 straws and we all drew straws with numbers on them. That would be our boat, in essense a claim type race so to speak.
I had a feeling what the issue was and I would like to say bravo for the initiative Brad! Keep moving forward everyone. One setback isn’t enough to give up.
“Little League Dad” will always be involved in sport, get used to it. Due to their own inadequacies and lack of morals/ethics they will always try to overcompensate with their kids. Instead of emulating the Earl and Tiger Woods of sport they emulate the fathers of the Mary Pierce’s of sport. There is the truth, now deal with it. Statistics and anecdotes prove that…
Keep your eyes on the goal, we’ve identified the issue now let’s continue SOLVING the issue. I for one don’t know all the facts and like any good trial lawyer will tell you, don’t ask the question unless you already know the answer. If the Honda’s only getting usage in the IMI club races then that is a START. Better than no action at all.
In the meantime…
