ParticipantGod bless Paul Dana. Just learned from his bio he had attended the Bridgestone Academy where I’m at 10 years ago.
“Dana got his start in racing in 1996 by working as a mechanic at the Bridgestone Racing School in Ontario, where he won his first races. The training program there paid in seat time instead of cash. Without family financial support, it was the only way for Dana to get behind the wheel of a racecar. When he wasn’t driving, Dana built gearboxes and did other racecar preparation work.”
pretty incredible guy…….worked his way up to be where he was at.
God Bless

ParticipantGood question… everyone was asking the same thing, I think that he was just so focused and in the zone that he had tunnel vision, Herta and Dixon both slowed and he passed them like they were standing still, plus the yellow warning lights were on all the way around. Scary deal… It sure is a wake-up call when things like that happen, enjoy each and every day!!!!
