It used to be that there would be a makeup date in the event of rain unless we were at Steamboat. Since Steamboat is off the calendar for now I would ASSUME that there will be no rain races.

There is (still) plenty of time to get in compliance. First we $#%^& cuz the rules are too vague and now we @@#$%^ cuz it ain’t out by 1 January. Patience is a virtue… Let the powers to be write the rules and get rid of the loopholes to curtail cheating and get it done right the first time instead of half assed.
I am sure that testing or having seat time with 10 more pounds (or less) isn’t going to screw y’all up. Get real…
If you want to complain y’all should complain that Scuderia Torro Rosso is going to use a detuned V-10 while all the other teams will use V-8’s. And that IS an unfair advantage over the other back runners…

We go to Shotgun Willie’s, Hooters or someplace similar in class and recruit some of the local talent.
That’ll bring the spectators… :woohoo
One of my most memorable days was when we were in Malaga Spain:
We were sitting on the second story deck of the karting restaurant having beers and talking about what we had just done in the rental karts, while other karters were having a go. It was shortly thereafter that I bought a kart and started racing in Colorado. The place was first class and there were a few Modena’s in the parking lot. My cousin showed me a photo in the pro shop of a very young kid named Fernando Alonso and a guy named Kimi Raikkonnen.
If Americans can promote and watch NASCAR/IRL/CHAMP CAR then there is no reason they can’t promote karting the same way.
Being in Spain and England was an eye opener. You should have talked to Donal (Superslow) when he was here. He could have told us stories…
