You’ve got some seriously smart guys in here dishing up good advice. I think you’ll be pretty excited to get involved when you see for yourself how cool the community is around here. Stock honda and DD2 would both be good fun for the reasons already mentioned.

I recently put together a stock moto package for pretty darn cheap(~4g) with good used components. It’s not nice and shiny like Rick’s new machine, but if you fit my medium seat, my kart is another candidate for a demo. I’m sure there will be plenty of early season testing that you can come out to and gather some knowledge.

When can we expect to see the new rules and will there be any drops for 2008?

I’m not certain, but I believe there is a meeting this week to iron out a few things and I’d hope we get access to the rules in a week or so…?

Drops, I’m not sure about. I think 1 drop is probable, after the discussion that came out of the year-end meeting.

One thing that I confirmed with Curt is that all the number plate background colors have to be consistent on all 4 sides. This may only apply to mixed class run groups.

Saturday was awesome! Nothing fell off, or broke. 😆

I think I need some serious tutoring on jetting as I had a mikuni last year, but I’ve tried to read up on these PWMs. I’ve got decals on the bodywork now, so I’m way more legit. :loony:

Other than figuring out the carb, I have a new seat position to try out.

Hope you all got to get out and play a bit.

Cool, I’ll let you know via PMs (both sites) wether or not I get my seat situation taken care of to be able to make it out tomorrow. I sure hope I do, as the weather is goin’ to be tits.

I’ll help you in the morning if the job is not complete. How much bigger will the new seat be?

Um, it’s stilo I think. Looks very much like this (not my kart, thanks google!)

Where are you planning to go, AJ? I’m leaning towards IMI, it’s a longer haul for me, but don’t want to get burned out on ttac. Giving Doug a hand is also a consideration (I’ll bring that vest, D.

Sorry to hear the big plans for #7 didn’t work out. We appreciate your effort.

Bummed I’ll miss the 1st race now too (stupid work). What was the drop policy? 1 drop, can’t be GJ?

Come to the Bob Reed benefit and win the “dyno time” being donated by Billet Performance. You could walk out of there with a very good handle on tuning your new monster.

Dyno time, time with AJ, GJMS CSC weekend,… Where’s that money tree?

    Cya there.
