Words, pictures, and videos of Spec Moto racing at the Pepsi Center.

    That is cool Stacey.

If anyone out there needs a pilot for their vacant KF2 seat or something, just send me a PM. 😆 😆

Thanks, Curt. I appreciate the encouragement. I just wish we could have found a little something more for Marc. I’m still feeling great about how the weekend went.

    It was quite an experience.

We had a really great time. It was an interesting experience seeing the carnage and the team efforts to get machines and drivers turned around in the pits and back to the grid for the next session. I hope those with injuries will heal up fast and fully.

Thanks to all the folks that made this happen. Just off the top of my head, Jim, Chris, Josh, Carolyn, Matt, the EVENT SPONSORS. Thanks.

The cash on the podium was a nice end to the weekend! Jim, can you repeat who we have to thank for that?

Jim, any idea what security will be like on Friday night? Could I risk dropping my tent over my kart and camp like I normally do? Thanks.

I also assume TTAC will be open for testing on Friday?

Done. Something like that would be a good starting point. Welcome to karting.

I would have cruised out to socialize if we had more warning. Glad you all had fun on Sunday!

I think choosing between tag masters and stock moto heavy is a good idea. There are only a few stock moto heavy karts around right now, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more in the next year or two. The tag master fields are pretty healthy at the club level and maybe a little thinner at the regionals.

Where are you located? What did you think of the tag kart? I jumped right into shifter and I’m doing ok after 2 years, but I suspect my driving could have benefited from doing a year or more in tag. I have seen motocross guys pick it all up pretty quickly.

Like Greg said, local support is one of the keys to your success and you’re bound to find a fit with one of the local shops/teams.

Come on and join the fun. You’ll have a blast. Don’t be afraid to ask for more help.

Putting those bus stop punt shots (from the shifter main) into a .gif might be kinda interesting. Hope everyone and their equipment made it out ok.

Ditto on the rain, Justin. It was not very far away at all.

Thanks for the great weekend, all. Hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Let’s get some hype going for the Pepsi Center event. Is there any more info available beyond what was discussed at the driver’s meeting? Move in time? Any plans for bleachers or spectators? Plans to get the word out and expose our sport in the local media? Jim, if there are things we can do or help out with, just ask.

Let’s not get pit spots right at pit out. That revving annoys the crap out of me.

I may be testing at ttac on Sunday if anyone is up for it.
