The tires don’t ground you. They are an insulator. Little to no chance of being struck. I hope we will run in the rain if the weather cooperates. New adventures and a new area to learn.

I believe the second class you run should cost something. My son runs two different classes and currently has three karts. So not using the same equiptment for the multiple classes. I think the track owners/promoters should make a profit. I am however supportive of second class at 50% of the cost of first class run.

Wish I could have made it to the big meeting, was there in spirit. I am in California working. Have to make those big bucks to support are racing addiction. Will be in Norman Oklahoma in a couple of weeks for the first STARS race. As far as the data aquisition goes I am not against people having it. It is a wonderful tool for learning engine tuning as well as chassis setup. I was just saying that I believe the reason most bodies say no data aquisiton in kid kart is to keep initial costs down. Give a parent and kid there first fix free or no cost= ADDICTION. Drug dealers have been doing this for years. As far as the rules go for kid karts I am keeping out of that one, as I have no kid in that class.

    Don,

As far as the computers go I believe the reason they don’t allow them is to keep costs down. In most sanctioning bodies they also don’t allow for a rear gear change. The Kid kart normally runs an 89 rear gear. Keeping it low cost and simple for parent and the new kid to go karting.

    Too All,

Love me or hate me or tolerate me its your choice of course. While I will agree with some of your comments and they have there merit. The documentation I have is not the rule book it was letters written to CRE and myself from I.K.F. when my son was running out there. “not my interpetation of a rule book” As far as promoting karting in Colorado I am supporting and trying to make it better. “with the exception of CRE”. I am very proud to live in a country where we are all able to voice are views, opinions, and facts. As long as there is no vulgarity etc.. on this site free speech is a necessity.

    thank you,
    Brian Moore

P.S. If going to respond to the actual facts of the insurance situation or Jesse Egans accident contact I.K.F. ,and talk to Mike Egan His father first. Please do some research before you place comments on those items

P.S.S. I have a mirror and absolutely no problem in looking at myself in it. I stand behind what I believe and say. Also when I am wrong “yes that does happen” know that I have no problem appoligizing and asking for forgiveness. If you know me or get to know me ” I am a man of my word and won’t say im your friend and back stab you as you walk away” But on the same note if I have no use for you I have no problem saying it to you face to face, and yes we can agree to disagree that happens a lot.

    Team 911,

First of all im not your buddy so don’t go assuming that! I am good friends with Mike Egan so I do no of the medical costs. I am sorry you feel the need suck up to “King George”. I recall you having same problems as myself with the comer setup the way it was spelled out at CRE. We both went to “King George” with it. But one of us didn’t have any backbone. Wow wonder who that was.

    Doug,

At a STARS event you can’t be on the track 7 days prior to the event.
So no advantage getting there early.

Brandon my son will be running STARS. If we miss a CSC race oh well. Pick your priorities. National event or a race that is just fun.

    Jay,

Here is your response from a parent that wants to see his kid race without prejudice from certain track owners, and possible dq’s. NO INPUT. Its a dictatorship so might as well learn to love it.

Stacey im already sold on the idea. So no need for my son to try it before we buy. I just know that my costs for parts and karts have gone up with the weak dollar, and im afraid to spend money and then have to choose between say running the comer or a mini max. If I have to choose between the comer and mini max I would be forced to choose comer since we run the Stars series. I want my son to be able to run all three karts, but need to see what is happening with the CSC as well as the rules.

    Joe,

Jesse’s accident has a lot to do with how the classes are run, and rules being followed. CRE was not insured at that race even though you and the fellow competitors paid for it that day. If a track does not follow the rules as written no insurance. If there is a change to those rules it must be approved by the sanctioning body. If not approved as a local option then there is no insurance. I believe you were one of the people that recieved correspondence between myself and I.K.F., as I handed out many copies the day George called the police to have me removed from CRE. So is it personal against George YES.

    Brian Moore

P.S. I would say Jesse’s injuries were serious. Mike his dad spent thousands of dollars out of pocket.

Mitch no problem. I am stating fact. If you would like I am more than willing to bring the materials to the track sent back and forth with IKF. I am not in Colorado right now so can’t scan info into the computer. Besides I could have doctored it. I have original copies at home. The day the Egan boy was injured at George’s is the day that I had passed out correspondence between myself and the IKF. George was not insured, and no the Egan boy was not covered. If they had wanted to they could have gone after George for the boys injury’s. Lucky George they didn’t.

    George,
Yes I have complaints with how the CSC is going. However unlike you they are trying to fix the problems with the series, and by keeping the subject matter present and constant it will hopefully change. I am not worried about what im wishing for with tech and the rules. If they are written and I have a copy I will read and follow them. Unlike your WKA rules that you bastardize probably without WKA’s approval. Not sure maybe I need to help you out again by asking WKA some questions about your track.

    Brian Moore

P.S. If you doctor the rules of IKF and they are not approved by I. K. F. there insurance will not cover expenses!
