    Joe,

Jesse’s accident has a lot to do with how the classes are run, and rules being followed. CRE was not insured at that race even though you and the fellow competitors paid for it that day. If a track does not follow the rules as written no insurance. If there is a change to those rules it must be approved by the sanctioning body. If not approved as a local option then there is no insurance. I believe you were one of the people that recieved correspondence between myself and I.K.F., as I handed out many copies the day George called the police to have me removed from CRE. So is it personal against George YES.

P.S. I would say Jesse’s injuries were serious. Mike his dad spent thousands of dollars out of pocket.

Greg was injured at a SKUSA event in New Mexico several years ago. He received a ride to the hospital in the amubulance, he had a broken collar bone. Because it was a SKUSA sanctioned event, 100% of ALL my expenses not covered by other insurance was covered by SKUSA’s insurance. Now maybe some of you will understand one of the reasons I’m so insistant on getting sanctioned and running the races by the book.

It’s for your own safety and well being in the event of an accident.

    Doug,

Nuff said. Accept it everyone, it’s going to happen.

By the way, I had dinner with Sam Walls last night and he said I could relay the following since i am a bettur typur than him:
    8)

What will SKUSA or any other sanctioning body offer us the racer?

    Pretty much nothing.

CSC is going to charge a membership fee anyway (do you think Angie should work for free, In My Opinion Heck NO) and if a sanctioning body is involved it’s pretty much a $25-$30 vig on top of what CSC was going to charge. All monies generated by CSC was returned to the racers in awards trophies, etc. None went into anyone’s pocket.

What Doug Welch says has merit. i hope you all have health insurance but if you don’t 😥
I am in the mortgage business and i can’t tell you how many clients i’ve had over the years with medical collections totalling in the thousands of dollars and couldn’t buy a house due to the medical bills caused by no insurance

If you’re a local racer and have any aspirations to go to Rock Island or the Supernats then your membership fee will cover you at these events, you have to be a member to race there.

    Sam, what did I omit?

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s going to happen. It has merit. Deal with it and figure which one we want.

I personally vote SKUSA since Jim Keesling will have a stronger voice than anyone outside the area, he’s local and has a passion for karting just like he does sailing. Now, if we can get a race director…

I read the text from the Moore family and must say I’m a little confused. Not only was my son racing with Jesse Egan that day I was the Paramedic that treated him. There were no injuries with the exception of a cut on his finger. In the future I hope that people look past the personal vendetta’s and grudges… and present things the way they really happened. If anyone needs any clarification on what really happened I’ll be happy to let them know. Brian let it go buddy… go have fun with your son. :sun:

    Team 911,

First of all im not your buddy so don’t go assuming that! I am good friends with Mike Egan so I do no of the medical costs. I am sorry you feel the need suck up to “King George”. I recall you having same problems as myself with the comer setup the way it was spelled out at CRE. We both went to “King George” with it. But one of us didn’t have any backbone. Wow wonder who that was.

    Sign your post,

    Brian Moore

P.S. I am Having fun with my son and yes it has turned into a blessing being kicked out of CRE. I miss that wonderful track to practice on, but sure don’t miss rules changing weekly. Or rules being different to those that have a brown nose!

I have been hopeful that this thread would just go away.
But once again it has reared it;s ugly head.

It’s a good thing that most of the people in this sport are commited to the sport and love the postive aspects of it.
Other wise the excrement that keeps showing up in these post would drive everyone away from the sport.

Now that you all have had the chance to air out what’s wrong with the sport and the individuals that you personally have a vendetta for,
the rest of us would like to hear what you PERSONALLY are doing to make the sport better.
If you put as much energy to building the sport as you do tearing it and individuals in it down, then we would REALLY have something happeningl.
If you choose not to take an active roll in building the sport and are more focused on tearing it down, then please take your destructive energy and venom some place else.
(There are many violent sports that are available that the adults cause problems for the kid’s, that’s probably a good place to go)

Something for us who put post on this forum should keep in mind:
    1. The internet is nationwide and worldwide.
PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT THIS SITE AND DEVELOPING OPINONS OF
    ALL OF US IN COLORADO.
    2. The kid’s in this sport are watching the adults.
What message and example are we giving them?
    3. We have it better in Colorado than MOST states.
We have a variety of tracks, race programs, and dealers of products.
Try moving to a state that has one track and you live 3 hours from it
and no kart shop in your town.

Why do I know this, G-RPM currently has over 28 U.S. Dealers and 20 International Dealers, who unfortunately read the forums on this website,
and I constantly have to explain. (Frankly, it’s embarrasing)

Maybe the best choice is to follow the lead of Benjamin Franklin and
    “Agree to Disagree”
Or maybe follow what our Mother’s taught us, “If you can’t say anthing good, then don’t say anything at all.”

Try appreciating that we are all passionate about the sport and have
    our own view point.

On a final note I wish to address two issues:

    1. About the documents from the Sanctioning body mentioned several
    times in this particular thread:
    a) Documents are open to interpretation.
Good examples are: The Constitution, and Laws.
I personally DO NOT take credence in one person’s view of what the
documents from IKF say. Interpretation will be skewed based on the
    person reading them’s bias.

    2. I take personal offense to remarks of Mitch Wright’s crediblity.
Based on his background and his employment with a National
Sanctioning body (SCCA), I personally believe he know’s
what he is talking about and he has credibility with me.

Do what you wish, either help build the sport or tear it down.
Just remember that when you point a finger, three of your fingers are
pointing at you which means that odd’s are that’s where the problem is.

    Too All,

Love me or hate me or tolerate me its your choice of course. While I will agree with some of your comments and they have there merit. The documentation I have is not the rule book it was letters written to CRE and myself from I.K.F. when my son was running out there. “not my interpetation of a rule book” As far as promoting karting in Colorado I am supporting and trying to make it better. “with the exception of CRE”. I am very proud to live in a country where we are all able to voice are views, opinions, and facts. As long as there is no vulgarity etc.. on this site free speech is a necessity.

    thank you,
    Brian Moore

P.S. If going to respond to the actual facts of the insurance situation or Jesse Egans accident contact I.K.F. ,and talk to Mike Egan His father first. Please do some research before you place comments on those items

P.S.S. I have a mirror and absolutely no problem in looking at myself in it. I stand behind what I believe and say. Also when I am wrong “yes that does happen” know that I have no problem appoligizing and asking for forgiveness. If you know me or get to know me ” I am a man of my word and won’t say im your friend and back stab you as you walk away” But on the same note if I have no use for you I have no problem saying it to you face to face, and yes we can agree to disagree that happens a lot.
