ParticipantI hope there is a way to get more seperation between the comer 80 class and K3. There are at least four drivers running both of these classes. Thank you in advance.

ParticipantAngie,
Its fine I just don’t personally agree with it. I know the rules are in place, and if thats the way it is I will just have to live with it.

ParticipantSuperslow,
If this is like most sanctioning bodies you would not be able to race all year without joining. Most bodies allow for one or two events before you must be a member. I want the person with the most points to win. IF ITS NOT EARNED WE DON’T WANT A CHAMPIONSHIP AT ALL!!!!!! They tried to give my son a first place trophy in Grand Junction. He was not first just the first loser “second place for those that don’t look at it as a loss”.

Proud father of Brandon no matter where he finishes, but we don’t go out to the track without expecting to get first. EARNED first that is.hotwheels1517
ParticipantAngie,
I do not understand the fact that Brandon ended up with the first place points. What happens if Colby Yardley were to register with SKUSA and the CSC? I personally think that the points should have been awarded accordingly to the actual race. If at the end of the year an individual does not join then delete there points from the calculations. Not trying to make this more difficult just fair.Brian Moore

ParticipantI noticed a problem with the comer class points. First problem is Brandon is not in first place, should be Colby Yardley, Brandon Moore second, and Third should be Austin Farley. Second problem is there were only 8 comers that raced that day, and Nine competitors got points? I love to see us leading in the points, but we would like that to be earned. I appreciate your hard work Angie and hopefully with the help of karters we can help you to keep everything straight.

ParticipantTodd,
I have tried to find the answers but there is nothing on the airbox requirement for k3. Unlike when we race stars there are specific air boxes for each class. I am not going to assume that the airbox covers all classes to include comer 80 and k3. I made assumptions last year, and we were using rules that had exceptions. I am making sure any question I have regarding the rules are answered specifically as I do not want to see my son DQed over my lack of information or interpetation. Sorry if this makes your job more difficult. I know it will get easier for you as time goes on and the season progresses forward. I am not asking just because i haven’t read what ive seen on the computer as far as rules. I will be happy when I have something I can reference at the track and not the differen’t rules ive seen various places on the internet. So I need to hear it from the tech director or have a printed rule book in hand. I didn’t send in my money for skusa that long ago and as of yet do not have a rule book.
Thank You,

ParticipantStacey,
I have tried to contact you three times today by phone. I only left one message. But here are my questions. what is the requirement on the air box for k3, and do you have an airbox for me to buy? If you have the airbox put it to the side will purchase sat. What is the fuel for k80 class and what is the ratio of oil? do you have the required colored rear number plates for k80 and k3 if so put one of each aside so I can purchase sat.
Thank you,
Brian Moore

ParticipantMyself as a parent of a kid in jr1 have absolutely no problem with the combined class of comer, animal, and mini max running together. The comer is not enough slower that a mini-max or animal will end up lapping an experienced driver. If a comer, animal or mini-max ends up lapped at our races it will result from a new driver or mechanical problems. I have also not seen a difference from running the can muffler and the vevery pipe on a comer. So I don’t expect that to slow a comer down from last year.

ParticipantNo need to send money it was a fire created by the transmission which AAMCO rebuilt. I believe after the insurances settle we will be up and running at full speed. What matters is we made it to the races, and no one was injured. Other than a sprained ankle moving the trailer from the inferno.

ParticipantHere are some pics notice fire extinguisher all used up. Too big of a fire for me to put out with small extinguisher.

ParticipantPlease leave the comer to that spec. I see no reason to make them faster. the comer properly set up may not be as fast as an animal or mini max but honetly who cares. The competition level is equal betwee comers. What is going to be the weight of the comer 80 class? I would love to suggest #235 so that it would be the same as stars.
Thank You,
