ParticipantThere isn’ t designated ratio…. and the fuel is your choice of C12, MS98, or MS93. The oil is RC3 or RS7, again your choice. You will have to buy fuel and oil with your entry, and you will have to declare the fuel, the oil, and I believe, the ratio, that you are running. This way everyone has the same opportunity to choose the fuel / oil combo that they want. (this allows for the Rotax to run the 93, and the other TAGs to run the 98 )
You should come prepared with a CLEAN if not NEW fuel jug, or one that you know has only had the spec fuel you are running in it. This will help you to avoid any possible chance of it being contaminated with anything that might cause a DQ. If you have one that has been used for various fuels, you are taking a chance. Better be safe and get a new one for only the new spec fuel you will be using.
If you are planning on cheating with fuel, don’t bother…. the CSC is prepared this year, and will catch you.
Hope this answers the question,

ParticipantOK, I surrender. Which is the correct answer?
Track Owner. or
SuperTech Dude??????Or, am I the only one scratching my head here?
I do know that Big T will not be there, so hopefully the fuel testing, distribution, mixing, storage… will all go well and not eat away at precious track time.

ParticipantCurt,
Stacey is right on this one. Since he has stocked up on fuel and oil, he has to be assured he can sell it. And that will be the procedure for all CSC events.
Big T is not going over the mountain… by mutual agreement, GJMS is providing the fuel and oil. Big T will be at the other events. There will be fuel testing – and hopefully it won’t take any precious track time – but it will take some time, and you will have to be patient. This is something that is important, and needs to be done.
You will get a voucher for fuel and oil from GJMS when you pay for it with your entry. Then you will go and pick up your fuel and oil. You will go back to your pit and mix the fuel / oil as you normally would (leaving out any enhancers). Nothing else is different until which time you are asked to give a fuel sample. This may everyone, or may be the top 3-10, or may just be random. Be prepared, and be legal. You can bring your own fuel to test with prior to race day, but GJMS will be selling it for the same price as Big T, so you could save the hassle of toting it over the mountain if you wish.
Hope that helps.

Stacey,
What is the price for the 3 types of fuel, per gallon, and also what is the price of the 2 types of oil, per bottle? Also why do we have to buy 5 gallons?
April 13, 2005 at 3:50 pm #50377stacey cook
ParticipantBecause we have to sell the fuel
