the registration form already hit the mail. It’s gone to the PO box.

Just make sure there’s not a sign “no tall drivers need not apply”

    Mike,
If you’re taller than the clown, you have to spectate the entire 20 lap event.

Because we have to sell the fuel

Ok, first off we were told at the meeting that Big T was the only supplier for the CSC races and that they would be there on race day. Next we were told we could buy our fuel before race day to avoid hangups with purchasing fuel on race day, we were encouraged to buy our fuel early because then there was less of a chance to screw up the schedule do to people not having fuel in time for their races do to long lines to purchase fuel. So now, those of us who already purchased fuel early to avoid delays on race day have to spend extra money just to race the first race. That can put a crimp on early season budgets for the racers. Not to mention that some of the racers, who only use maybe a gallon a race now have tons of extra fuel and if each track stocks up on fuel to sell and then requires that each entrant buy 5 gallons on race day, at the end of the season they have about 60 gallons sitting around!

Next, just what is the price of the fuels and the oils????

Mike, I don’t know what to tell you, it has been spec fuel and oil from the beginning, we have 30+ barrels sitting at the track that we had to bring in because Big T could not make the trip over. prices are identical to Big-T.

What about Biland drivers? We don’t have to buy oil do we ?

Also, I hope the VP oil is not the purple label. This oil caused serious engine damage to a lot of teams when they changed nationally last year. Talk to the engine builders about it. SKUSA and Stars let us change to Maxima ( which is the same oil as the old vp 3 ). We threw away 3 cases of the purple label oil last year.

Please post as soon as possible so I can determine what we are going to do.

    Mike,
sorry for the mixup. You are right, as of the meeting, the plan was to have Big T at all events. It was mutually decided that it would work better for the GJ events, for the track to handle it. That was a last minute decision, and has caused some inconvenience…sorry. Hopefully you can understand why we have to have people purchase from the track, who is the supplier for this event. I do understand your position, let’s talk at the track.

    Prices are :
    MS98 5.85/gal
    MS93 6.00/gal
    C-12 7.50/gal
    RS 7 9.50
    RC3 8.25

Stacey has the original formula oil – prior to any problems. According to VP, all of the “bad” oil should be out of circulation, and the problem has been corrected.

Richard, of course you won’t be required to buy oil if you don’t use oil.

We had to spec an oil in order to make fuel testing managable. We chose VP oils because of the arrangement with the supplier. IF there is a problem with the VP oils, it will be addressed, and a different spec oil considered.

thanks, see you at the track…

Rich, we especially want you to buy oil 😆 The Billands will not, the RC-3 we have is the origional blend which is actually the 927 Maxima… we have special bottles for RBI 😯

You are welcome Mike. Thanks for being patient. It has been busy, and I am also trying to get the family packed up to go! We were supposed to be on the way there already, now looks like we will leave dark and early.

    See you there,
    Angie

If RC3 and maxima 927 are the same, how could tech even test which one you’re using? I don’t think any type of oil would give anyone an advantage. I think you should be able to use either since they’re esentially the same oil.
