Thanks for keeping us updated Gayle. It’s awesome that you take the time to keep us posted on Rich’s situation despite all the other things weighing on you right now.

Somebody had asked in another thread if there were any particular places which we could pick up gift card for you and Rich. If you can think of any off the top of your head that would be great.

Keep your head up and Merry Christmas to you and Rich.

My name is Jordan Iglesias and I just wanted to introduce myself to the Colorado Karting community. I will be racing with you guys in 2010. I purchased an Italkart chassis from a local guy and also a leopard motor. Already had the motor rebulit by Barry at Billet. Over the next few months I plan on stocking up on equipment, tools, extras, etc. in order to be ready to go. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Will be running in Tag just not sure exactly what class of TAG since I am 29 years of age and weigh 175 lbs. I have hung around various events since I moved to Colorado a few years back and finally got the chance to pull the trigger on a kart. Anyways, look forward to being apart of the Colorado Karting community. Thanks again.

Masters requirement is 35 years of age or older, or 200lbs driver weight with gear.

Unless you’re rocking gear from the 50s, you should be in TaG Senior. I faced a similar dliema last year being 32 and roughly 190, and chose to race Senior to respect the rules.

Ok, so I’ve been laying on my side here on the desk just looking at that frapaccino. I don’t see anything special aboout it.

Doug, my Chippy weekend outfit is spray on. And yes Lucy loves it!

I sent Richie a message to call your cell Doug.

Mike, you can kiss my ( I )

    Thanks for the help Rick.

Told the same thing to Tiger last year but he (obviously) didn’t listen.

I used to rock a shaved grape. The wifey saw a picture of it, said I have a peanut head, and put the kaibosh on any future shaving.

    Bump.

I’m not having any luck with the number I had and the number Troy had is disonnected.

I really need to speak with Richie, if any of you have any contact info I’d certainly appreciate it. I’d take Jansen’s advice and try facebook but I don’t have an account there as I find the whole myfaceyspacetwit thing to be silly. I guess I could create an account just to get a hold of Richie, but then I’d have to deal with my thousands of ex’s trying to track me down, and I don’t have the money for any possible child support bills. :loony:

    😯

Didn’t want to show photos of Rick’s Chippendale guyz, but thought it would be cool to show a pic of Rick in his weekend getup?

Better hope Lucy and Roman don’t see that one.

Awesome report Jansen. This is something I’ll have to make one of these years.

This is a lot of fun and hard work. Big names and little talk. Just wrench and drive.

Awesome, you’re racing right? Or are you tuning?

Whichever it is, good luck to you and all the rest of the Colorado folks out there.

Saw you got the kart sold, did you find some work? I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for but I’m still keeping an eye out for you at DIA.

That’s what happens when you get old. I might have to come out next year just to show him how it’s done. 👿

Gee Mike, I’ve been on a few several day runs myself, but it wasn’t all natural (if you know what I mean) turned 50 Monday but I’m still good for 48 hours. It’s the next 48 hours that are a little off.

    😆 😆

    My thoughts exactly.

48 hours is nothing. After working 3rds the last 5 years I know I could pull that out easy.

Please keep us updated with your photo journal, you can leave out the places that have poles from floor to ceiling!

Hell no! Those are the important ones, besides the racing of course. Don’t forget to include the fauna there as well. 👿

Troy, me neither, something came up. I got a number for him elsewhere that should work though. If not I’ll get in touch. Thanks again.

Troy I’ll give you a ring in the morning. Or are you by chance gonna be at the Shockwave Seminar? If so, I’ll be there.

Just did a quick perusal of Craigslist for the Western Slope, Front Range, and Utah areas. Didn’t notice anything that stuck out. Get a full list up and I’ll definately be on the lookout on Craigslist/Ebay/Ekarting. I’ve got a lot of time to kill on the internet at work so I’ll see what I can do.

Hope you get the douchebags that did this.

Wonder if Jim would let us race in the snow on our wets? Has anyone tried it?

There was some talk about ice racing a year or two back. Not sure what came of it. Although a couple of guys participated in an arena ice race with some traveling moto/quad/kart ice racing group about the same time.

Screw rain tires though, MG yellows with some drywall screws would be a blast!!!

I’ve got emails out to Bernie Adamson w/ USKGP and Kevin Williams with WKA. No responses yet. If anybody has any other other ideas of who to contact or can contact somebody themselves and put them in touch with me that would be great. I don’t want to make the powers that be at HPR wait too long, but I’m certainly not giving up either.

And BTW, my short lived racing “program” will be put on hold next year. We’re now expecting our 2nd child. Hopefully by the time Page (3) and this one are ready to race I’ll know what the hell is going on. :loony:
