Just wanted you to know that Rich Vito was moved from Northeran Colorado Acute Rehab Hospital yesterday. Seven months and one day after he arrived there he was taken by ambulance to Applewood Living Center in Longmont. He is now 10 minutes from home. The move was very difficult for both of us. We will see what the future holds.
My one request of the various tracks is that you make certain that you have updated emergency contact information for each racer! While that would not have changed what has happened, the six hours after Rich was injured and before I was notified still weigh upon my mind.
I do wish that all of you have a great Christmas and that the new year is a wonderful one for you!

Somebody had asked in another thread if there were any particular places which we could pick up gift card for you and Rich. If you can think of any off the top of your head that would be great.
Keep your head up and Merry Christmas to you and Rich.

You, Rich, and your family our in our thoughts and prayers every day. I follow all of the entries on the Caring Bridge site, and thank you for taking the time to share Rich’s progress with us. I am sorry I didn’t get up to visit while he was in Loveland. Let us know when he is ready for visitors in his new place, and we will come down to see him. If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.Happy Holidays,
Angie MacEwen and family

Doug,
Gayle’s address is:
835 Kane Dr. #25
Longmont 80501A few of us have sent her gift cards, and Charles is standing by with a TV for the new room when the time comes. Gayle can always use some kind words, thoughts and of course prayers if ever anyone wants to drop something in the mail. I am sure Rich would love to have visitors as well. The more we stimulate his memory, hopefully, the better he gets. He has come a long way, but still has an incredible journey ahead.
Thanks to everyone who has helped this family. That goes from Coast-to-Coast, Track Owners, Shop Owners and of course our stronghold of local racers who really do care about each other.
Merry Christmas,
