Cut about 10 to 12 inches of a bent axle off and put them in order on it. You can even weld a small plate on the bottom so it will stand up in your tool box or on your pit table.

The bondurant book will give you everything you need in writing that you learn in his school. Plus, the driver that wrote it also supported colorado karting for years and is one of the best in the industry.

The track is awsome. It can and has handled national events well. It is a crowd favorite for a lot of the national drivers.

I am in. Mike Baures, Robert Baures, Myself, and we need one more. If you are interested and have a 3 handicap or lower then we will consider letting you play. We do not want to pick up bad habits from anything less then a 3??????????????????????????

Hey mike, want to do some side wagers???? and, double or nothing again on the beer??????

I just got back in town and am leaving again so I will have Mike B sign us up. I have to change my schedules around as i was not going to be in town that week.

Body armour is the way to go. You can race with broken ribs and not feel them with these. Worth every penny. Call Stacey and get it before you begin to hate karting.

Your seat should be setup for the kart. If you need to reduce the rear grip do it with axle, hubs, seat struts, ride height etc etc. you should only move the seat as a last resort. You will find more problems will arise when you move the seat then you have now. You have a pretty simple fix.

    Hope this helps

Mike would do fine at the golf course if he would leave work at the office. I always see him with his backhoe wedge digging holes. There is not enough sand & seed mix to keep up for 9 holes.

But, he and stacey have been taking my money every week. Jerry and I will kick your butts tommorrow (I think his partner that had eye surgery would be better then me lately). Don’t forget to hit the ATM before you come tomorrow boys. By the way Cunningham, what time tomorrow????

    See you at the course,

Stacey is so nice he has decided to let anyone and everyone that can not find a room to stay in his new house. He has not moved in yet but will let you guys live there before him. I would really push him to get the pool done so you have a place to relax.

Gee Stacey, you are a swell guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rock Island is nothing more then hay bails covering concrete curbs, trees, and buildings. Not to mention a huge bump on the entry and exit of every corner as well as cobblestone cross walks that get you airborne 3 times a lap That is what I love about street races. Who has got the biggest seeds.

No home field advantage, hazzards everywhere, spectators, it is the best. Count me in for 2008 as I will be ready to go.

Once again this is not car racing. it is kart racing. It is not SCCA it is CSC. I again agree with Charles. The blue flag is meant for lapped traffic, period. It is not the responsibility of the corner worker to make the determination of who is fast and who is slow. His job is to watch for accidents and keep the racers safe. In no racing is there a flag for someone on the same lap that is slower then the rest of the field.

I had an 80 driver at STARS Reno a few years ago that was not as fast as the front field but ended up second in the final because he got a great start and was very hard to pass. You could see that Cole Whitt was doing everything he could to pass him (and he was the class of the field) and yet the officials never threw a flag. My driver was a bit slower but still earned the trophy.

Every year there are people that try and change the way the races are run. Every year (to their credit) the officials run the series the same way with great success. I am truly sorry that you had some early incidents and hope things get better for you. Unfortunately, you will not find a solution to this problem anywhere in the country (or around the world). Just be thankful you do not run in Europe. They will plow into anything in their way. Bumping is a way of life for them and is only racing.
