ParticipantBy the way. Team 2 will consist of Jamie Reed, Greg Cole, Jeremy Middaugh, and my brother Larry. I think we have the highest score covered. Sorry Jamie. You will know why I am sorry right after you tee off.

ParticipantHey Stacey,
I hope your kneck is feeling better because I have seen Cunningham play and heard about Darren. Either Adcock is a scratch player or your going to have to carry the team.
Side bets are welcome. Barley water accepted. As you know being in karting I don’t have any more money to gamble.
See you at the course,
Richard

ParticipantThank you Angie. You are the coolest person I know.

ParticipantThanks Curt,
We look foreward to the rock every year. The coolest venue to visit. What do we want to bet on friday ? Losing teams spring for the winning teams dinner ?
See you there,
Richard

ParticipantRBI Racing will have at least 110 gallons of 98 and C-12 at the track. We are on the road for 5 straight weeks so we will have an abundance of fuel with us.

ParticipantCurt,
We always have tons of MS-98 and C-12 with us. We will even sell it to Birel drivers. See you friday.
By the way, any side wagers on the golf tourney ?
Franz,
If you are going to be there on Friday early enough we have enough room for an extra golfer. So tell Apple to bring her clubs. Just kidding bro, if you golf bring your clubs. If not, I can bring an extra set. Call me at the office or reply to this post.Richard

ParticipantRon would have won on both races. I think the producers made him let the guy win round 2. Makes for better TV.
123 MPH Maybe we should all change to stock Maxter engines.

ParticipantI agree Doug. I was just making the point that if you are going to tear down a motor, sealed or not, it should not matter how much the person is liked or disliked or if he has big sponsors and money. It should be equal like the class is intended.
The biggest problems seem to be in the Jr. programs. People think that if their kid gets beat someone was cheating. Or the comments are ” if I had as much money as his Dad my son would kick his ass “. People don’t see how much work goes into putting together a top notch race team. We don’t call our engine builder if we are 3 tenths off the guy that beat us that weekend. We just work harder testing. We spend 5 times the money on tires every year than we do updating our engine program.
Alex and Scott Speed are the example. How can you beat a team every weekend when we have jobs and they test 5 days per week. Like when Scott dominated karting. I guess Swedetech is now building cheater engines for Renault and F1. That is why Scott does so well.
I have said it in the past and continue to say ” if you get beat by my driver and think it is the engine come buy it.” Everything we have is for sale.
By the way. I think the 5 guys that beat me at IMI a few weeks ago ALL had cheater motors. It couldn’t be that I am fat and out of shape and drive once every 6 months. I swear they are cheating.

ParticipantHey Curt,
Did Mike Baures call you about RBI having 2 teams ? If not, please sign 2 up for us. I will make sure the course gets paid. Now I have to go back to the club. I have another lesson today. Look out. I am now at a 46 handicap.
Thank you.

ParticipantI recall at Bandi a tag Jr. Dad ( I believe running a Rotax ) Protested and had us tear down our Biland Jr. engine. We had to pull it all the way to down. We brought it back in 2 box’s. All the way to the crankshaft.
The engine had the factory seal, we tore it down, and did not bitch about it. All of this and the same driver won his shifter race by 10 seconds. It couldn’t be the driver or chassis right ? It has to be the engine. Or the special part that the father saw my brother stick in his pocket while in tech.
We will allways have people complaining that someone has an unfair advantage as long as we race. My point is we had to do it with a sealed engine. Why should noone else have to ? Should we make all competitors bring their W2 forms from the prior year and only tear down the engines of the people that can financialy afford to ?
This is racing. It is expensive. If you win, expect to be torn down. Regardless of what engine you run. Look at how many DQ’s there are every year at the Rotax National Championships. They all have to be sealed yet people still get booted.

ParticipantAngie,
What is the difference if it is pouring or just wet. Rain tires will shred if it is not wet enough. My vote would be if we are going to run wet, run wet.
Also,
Any word on how the new TAG weights did at IMI.

ParticipantI am not a kid and don’t know if I will be there but I will make sure my crew brings you guys some hamburger buns. We won’t be eating with you as we have our menu planned but I will have one of my guys drop them off to you.

ParticipantWhat about Biland drivers? We don’t have to buy oil do we ?
Also, I hope the VP oil is not the purple label. This oil caused serious engine damage to a lot of teams when they changed nationally last year. Talk to the engine builders about it. SKUSA and Stars let us change to Maxima ( which is the same oil as the old vp 3 ). We threw away 3 cases of the purple label oil last year.
Please post as soon as possible so I can determine what we are going to do.

ParticipantCall Larry or I at the shop tomorrow and we will give you a price. The body armor is so good you can run with a knife in your side and still drive without pain.
