RBI
ParticipantRob Howden of Super Kart Illustrated is joining RBI Racing for a one off race at the Rock Island Grand Prix on Labor Day weekend. We have prepped a new RBI AR-1 chassis with a Hi-Tech powered CR-125 for Rob to contest the G-1 class.
Rob showed great ability at last years grand prix and should show the same speed and be a contender to win. We are very pleased to have Rob on board as this will give great publicity for Colorado karting.
We still have spots available for the rock. Anyone wanting to attend can PM me or call AJ Whisler at 970-201-7917.

ParticipantRichard,
Sounds like a great move to have Rob on your kart. He was pumped last year after his ride and should be ready to rock this year.Hope you guys have fun, and tell the “King of Streets” to bring another title home.
Curt

ParticipantThanks Curt,
We look foreward to the rock every year. The coolest venue to visit. What do we want to bet on friday ? Losing teams spring for the winning teams dinner ?
See you there,
Richard

ParticipantRichard,
I like what the Champ Car teams did at the Mini Grand Prix Kart Challenge this year. The loosers wore credientials that stated the winner, Team Newman/Hass, was the best team we ever raced against. It was classic to see the response of both sides.Maybe we can have all the loosing teams and drivers wear a Rookie X on the back of their shirts and helmuts on Saturday and Sunday.
I can’t imagine buying your team dinner, not even Keesling could afford that!
If we won Matt and Ben would choose Micky Dee’s for their dinner. :idn:
