ParticipantI agree Bill. We should be able to run what we have in stock. We have 6 cases of rains in the trailer for the Nationals. We will have them at ALL CSC races this year. So if it rains, let everyone run them and we will stock them. No need to go buy for just in case.

ParticipantSKUSA rules, run rain or shine. Rain dates are for baseball games.

ParticipantI agree to a class structure that I don’t have to run against Kyle. He should be handed a trophy as he arrives and not race against us humans. He is like super-human.
Great job last year Kyle. Keep it up,

ParticipantJB,
In talking to Joe Janowski, he works with the other organizations and gets permission to use their rules if there is a class in a region that is not in the SKUSA rule book.
I agree with Joe on this matter. If I spent the time and money to write a full rule book, it would piss me off if another organization uses it without compensating my company. All I hear is ” we are running SKUSA rules at this event ” but the event is not sanctioned by SKUSA.
This is a direct quote from Joe: ” We cover all but two CSC classes in our rule book. I will call the IKF or WKA and get permission to adopt their rules for the other two. “
Everyone keeps asking what SKUSA will offer if we join. Well, like I have said in prior posts, a chance to run at our Region and chase a National Championship. This is not saying that you will have to run against AJ Noud, Alan Rudolph, Ron White etc. etc. This is more of a regional racers national championship. Something a little extra to shoot for.
The guys ( our team included ) that raced STARS last year will still chase that series again this year. The biggest complaint of drivers is this sport is so expensive. Non factory drivers without full support now have a place to race.
This will also give national media coverage for up and coming drivers to spotlight their progress. Another way to get sponsors.
I think the idea is fantastic. Let’s here what drivers havce to say.

ParticipantCurt,
Tell Matt all of us at RBI are bummed to hear he hurt himself. He can use my rehab method if he wants. Lots of Playstation to keep the hand eye coordination working, 2 beers an hour, ( He is of legal age right ) and if he needs to gain weight, send him to my house for a week. Myself being a model for my wifes cooking, you can see that it works well.
Matt, get well soon, we need our #1 80cc driver healthy for a National Championship this year.

ParticipantJim,
Sounds like things are in motion. You have my full backing on the SKUSA decision. I think it will be a great opportunity for our regional guys to see how they stack up against the rest of the country at the final race.
Regional racing all year, one Final race to crown a National champion, less travel, for $75.00. You can count Team RBI in for that one.
Good luck and call if you need any help.
Richard Buxman
Hey drivers, let’s hear what you think. We as drivers are the final decision makers in how things go. Let’s choose a direction and run with it. The sooner the better so we can make our plans. If anyone has questions they can call me at the shop 800-268-0844.

ParticipantHey Brad,
How about what the racers want and not what you want for a change? If the racers want it and you don’t, then refuse to run it at your track. Be another CRE last year. You seemed to harp the same thing to George last year when he didn’t come over to the CSC.
I thought we were electing a person to lead the CSC and help in these matters. What happened to that?
Brad, listen to what the racers want. Your not the only game in town anymore.
RBI
ParticipantIt would give each of us something else to shoot for. To represent Colorado in a true National Championship without traveling all year all across the country to do so.
National exposure in the mags on a monthly basis is also a plus.
I am all for it.

ParticipantWell the race has been changed to Feb 4-6. RBI is still going, and has 2 or 3 spots open on their Factory RBI karts. Also any teams needing their karts trailered out there for the race, we have lots of room. Please call A.J. at the shop 970-245-1381.
RBI
ParticipantRBI Racing has Shift, ATR suits, HJC Helments, Lucky Helments, Corby Concepts Helments, and all most anything you want or need we can get.
970-245-1381 give us a callRBI
ParticipantRBI Racing will be fielding two entries for this race. Team one will consist of Alan Rudolph, AJ Noud, and some chubby guy that signs the checks.
Team two will be Jessie Dunham( Bondurant instructor ) and two other drivers to be announced. Anyone interested please e-mail me.
Karting needs more races like this. It should draw some good teams. Only thing that might hurt it would be the dates.

ParticipantI think you have great ideas. The s2 class should be open like pro which will allow drivers to grow to the pro class. You will find allot of back of the pack drivers in pro racing s2 to gain experience. The class will flourish.
By the way, congrats on the new ball and chain. I hope you took her last name cause snow is allot easier to pronounce than Baures. Kelly is doing much better now, she was pissed that she missed the wedding. I stayed home from Oklahoma to look after her.
You guys had better go to supernationals. I can arrange for some stock motors for you if you want to race the spec 125 class.
Let me know,
Richard
By the way, I am so glad you had a bad golf game so I didn’t have to give you a free chassis.
