ParticipantWe had a meeting last night and the proposed class structure will be listed maybe today. The rest is a secret of course and I can’t tell you.

InactiveThanks Brad,
Really look forward to seeing the class structure and any decisions behind it, and hey I have top secret clearance, know several secret hand shakes, and have a decoder ring; you can tell me. 😆December 8, 2004 at 8:22 pm #49038Brad Linkus

InactiveBrad, put the classes and rules together the way you and CSC want. To much input from racers is not good. They will buy something and find a class to race. Does NASCAR care what Tony Stewart thinks, or Champ Car ask Paul Tracy how it should be done or maybe IRL wanting to know what Buddy Rice thinks. I dont think so. Racers have proven to be crybabbies and want a way to make it better. here is one show up race go home.

This ISNT Nascar. nor is it IRL or OWS or F1 or anything like that. The rules, classes, etc SHOULD be organized for fun, convenience, and affordability. That why any of us race karts in the first place. I think that’s the only thing any of us desire. Input is a good thing, because let’s face it…..karting is truly about having fun doing what you love

ParticipantI have one thing to add to this:
If you all were given a 24K gold kart, half of you would complain about the color, weight etc…
Not everyone is going to be pleased so do the best you can (really the only thing you need to know is that TAG Masters DEMAND 20 lap finals, period)
Not everone likes Bernie Eccelstone but hey, F1 works.

InactiveI agree with any format for more laps. That’s what racing is all about. 10 laps is less than 10 minutes!

My last race: 1 1/2 days of controled pratice, morning practice, qualify, heat race and main race. total 2 1/2 days at the track = 63 minutes of seat time.
just one of the reasons I sold my stuff. people want to drive & race!
