Cunningham is a hack and Roccos wagon will get in a high speed wobble as soon as my cooler shows up.

Mike would do fine at the golf course if he would leave work at the office. I always see him with his backhoe wedge digging holes. There is not enough sand & seed mix to keep up for 9 holes.

But, he and stacey have been taking my money every week. Jerry and I will kick your butts tommorrow (I think his partner that had eye surgery would be better then me lately). Don’t forget to hit the ATM before you come tomorrow boys. By the way Cunningham, what time tomorrow????

    See you at the course,

Okay last question, I promise (in this thread anyway):

For the users of the hitch mount Kartique racks: What kind of weight am I looking at with a Sr. TaG Kart on the back?

I believe I can get a Class II hitch set up for a Forester which has a tonque weight of 300 lbs.

Your looking at @ 185 lbs with no lead on the kart.

the kart weight has little to do with the tounge weight. it is the weight that presses down on the the ball. Given that the kart will be somewhat over the wheels of the trailer it will likely be around 20-40 pounds. A class 2 hitch should be fine for a small kart trailer.

I was thinking more in terms of the Kartique kart stand that plugs into the receiver hitch as mentioned earlier in the thread. The full weight of the kart/stand would be supported only by the hitch in this case.

I wouldn’t be comfortable with that setup on a class 1 hitch. The twisting action you would get due to the load not being in a vertical plane to the ball, combined with the leverage effect with some of the weight being quite a distance from the ball could easily make the effective “tongue weight” exceed 300lbs, especially going over bumpy roads. I think the Harbor Freight fold-away 4x8ft trailer mentioned earlier is your best bet.

    Good Luck
