ParticipantChains hanging out with underage girls always get life…. 8)
Same thing if they happen to hang out with the wrong crowd 😀On a serious note, if you want your chains and sprockets to last a long time alignment and tension play a vital part. The most often overlooked part however is replacing a chain and not replacing the front driver at the same time. If it’s “peaky” that’s a sure way to wear out the chain and the rear sprocket. It “fights” with the other compondents. Costly, sure but chains and sprockets last longer in my opinion….

ParticipantGeneral Synopsis:
Saturday: breezy and nice weather; a perfect day to test and tune (or drink beer if you’re into that)
Sunday: Woke up at 5:30 to sprinkles, went outside and realized Noah had animals in pairs going somewhere…; Got to the track and Barry & I were the only ones there early yet we weren’t about to get out of our vehicles, rain coming down at 45 degree angle. Temperature not much higher than rain angle.
No Qualifying due to rain and we’d wait it out to see what was happening. Regardless, we’ll start due to season points and start on wets. TaG Masters and Shifters raced heats in drying track conditions. All drivers complaining about “loose” kart conditions. I don’t know if it would have been better with more rain or in existing conditions. Kid Kart and Jr. class cancelled and IF it got dry later in the day they’d race for plastic (visa, mastercard, Nordstroms)
After a brief brake the sun shone and it was ON…
Too bad some people left early because althought the track was a little green it was game on.
Marc, can’t answer why the Mylaps shows ZIP, ZILCH, NADA…
This morning snow over vail and loveland. And now rain in town.
HOw’s that??? I’ll not give results since nothing’s official. But I’ve got a sore rear from Roman’s butt whuppin…
Stacey and Darren (when he didn’t have his nose in the Enquirer) did a damned good job. Kudos to you oh and by the way i forgot to close out my tab, i’ll talk to you all tomorrow. I was dog tired.
Oh, and Gunther had a shirt that was quote, “unbecoming to the integrity and sporting spirit of karting” but that’s a whole different story! Talk is points deduction or payback. MG0631. To quote Don Rickles: “I’m gonna get you you gentile!” 8)
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG Day….

ParticipantContact the Colorado Springs PoliceDepartment.
You have proof that the engine purchased was paid for and that you don’t have it. But first give him a call to tell him of your intentions and that he has one day to resolve this before the authorities are notified.
It’s called fraud and theft otherwise…

ParticipantJust for the record:
NASCAR demographics are better than any other racing organization. At least it was that way 4 years ago when research was done pertaining to what’s best. That still doesn’t change my preference for F1 however…

ParticipantCheaters never prosper and McLaren only have themselves to blame.
Now watch Alonso jump back to Renault at his choosing since his contract will have outs due to issues like this.
So, perhaps he won’t be Hamilton’s teammate next year…Wow…

ParticipantThat would be nice.

ParticipantI have to agree with Speilberg, err Joe. They filmed follow the leader and missed some spectacular accidents and or passes. Of course, how many cameras did they have there vs. the coverage at a Champ or IRL race?
While Andy’s goatee makes him look a little chunky (it’s the HGH isn’t it Andy?) you have to admit, this is a fantastic start and bravo for raising the bar folks! This IMO is a great start! Thanks Jim for your continued enhancement to the Colorado Karting community.

You dont’ accuse someone with your opinions publicly. We all have opinions and they’re like a certain body part. We all have one and they all stink.
I’m just responding to an accusation I don’t take too kindly.
I came back with fact and sometimes facts hurt. Period. Don’t go spouting off your pie hole and not expect people to sit there and take it laying down. That simply isn’t my style. So, for a day I’m not an ambassador to the sport. 8)

ParticipantI”d stake my reputation any day. Last time I looked the monograms on my shirt didn’t have the initials JC. So yea, I’m not perfect. So sue me. I think day in and day out I’ve proven my mettle and my character. I can’t say that for others.
The truth hurts sometimes but it will set you free. This isn’t a popularity contest to quote someone near and dear to your heart.
Wow, I thought we were racing and a Jerry Springer episode broke out.

ParticipantRick,
I’m not even touching that one, to do so would be an insult to my intelligence.
I just gave a proven cheater some of his own medicine and he acted like a whinging baby. Funny I wasn’t shown a rolled nor a black flag period. But good try anyway the Oscars are only a few months away.If you can’t stand the heat, get out the kitchen. Nuff said.

ParticipantYes, Scooter asked me last night when she can drive the wheels off a kart at IMI. Blisters and all…
Mike Jansen
ParticipantScooter is used to heated water and turkey hot dogs (keeps her figure slim) for dinner. She knows what she likes and doesn’t like.
AND she’s the carrot for certain drivers that need pushing. A little bribe here and there’s a good thing isn’t it (see New Jersey politics for the answer) 8)
My A game will be on at Grand Junction. I’ve got a P1 to take overall. I’ve got a job to do. I really wish I’d have NOT blistered a tire at the last CSC but that’s racing. I gave a clinic on how to be wide. I’ve taken notes from Warrington on that…
Only a few more weeks. I’ve got testing and tuning to do at IMI this weekend… Brad, the track is open, correct? When is repaving going to occur?
Oh, and Scooter sends her love. She got a haircut and she looks hot in doggie hotness…

Participantwhen you’re showing cords that means they lived a good life and need replacing!

No one is ripping on Tony. If we didn’t care about Tony we wouldn’t say a thing about Tony and allow him to do what he wants.
In the old days it took a village to raise a kid. That’s pretty much what we’re doing here, that’s all.Same thing with cheaters. In the old days we’d take em out back and break their hand with a hammer (I’m from Las Vegas). Now we glorify them and make shows about how they cheat. Cheaters got NO respect and were avoided like the plague. I wish karting had the same ethic and consequence.
FYI since you’re new. It is always a good thing to put down a signature to a post especially if you’re new. People think your hiding behind a keyboard if you don’t. Just a suggestion.
