Hey that guy has my generator motor on that thing.
Inside joke. I was burning off some old 24 to 1 racing fuel and everyone thought my pits were on fire! Lol :ambulance

Truth be told Rick, Al Gore did cite your generator as being a main culprit in global warming and Cali Fornia’s push to rid the state of 2 stroke engines 😆

I’m not going but you all have a lot of fun and race well. With the approval from overseas I think you’ll truly have a world represented SuperNats, kick some serious butts and DON’T take out a fellow Colorado Karter!!!

If you get in trouble I can’t help you after 9PM. That includes you Rick. I don’t want to hear any stories about your neck hurting and you needed a massage. 8)

Taking as long as you did driving in Spain all I can say is that drivers behind you probably yelled words that aren’t suitable for printing here. English or Spanish! YOUR NOT IN ENGLAND, DRIVE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD!

Good luck and keep getting faster.

To your specific questions, YES a 6’5″ 230 lb ‘er can find (much) happiness in karting. YES there are specific chassis available for taller drivers. You may want to check the Margay ‘limo’ chassis in particular. Other chassis may have an extended ‘front porch’ option available but I know for sure the Margay does. Who knows, you may fit in a ‘regular’ chassis?

At 6’4″ I can say yes to the question. Like Rich said, an extended porch is the way to go although I’ve yet to have an extended porch kart.

As for the weight, I used to weigh 223 when I started but then I got serious and I’m now tipping in at 205. Remember Bubba Gump and his shrimp recipies? I can tell you the same about boneless skinless chicken and canned tuna. Welcome aboard and ask as many questions as you can.

We always put a tag on the radiator cao stating “NO WATER” so you don’t try to run it dry.

For those that don’t look at the radiator cap i put a piece of tape on the mychron saying the same thing; redundant system…

    Jim,

Thanks for telling me so late. I was up till 2am Sunday (that was my field handicap) attaching Rhinestones to Rick’s fleecethong, no the job’s still not done. It’s a small job you know 8)

Anyway, after driving though a sleeting rain and watching a Prius fly I decided to turn around go home. Still looking forward to having a fun day hopefully soon.

Rick, it’ll be done soon I promise. I know its getting cold out there and you need some fleece warmth…

One more thing…. Just a quick poll here… what do you guys (and gals) really like for awards? Mega trophies? Nice Plaque for the wall? Cups? Champion number plate? Do you like the jackets or sweatshirts? Would you rather have a set of tires?
    Angie

I like the Jackets, it was always something to aspire towards.
Champion number plate is good but some people don’t use them (why wouldn’t you?)
I like the cups vs a mega trophy and a set of tires last for a race or so the hardware lasts forever…

It’s ok, you can call us ‘old farts’. Jansen is a perfect example.

Hey, don’t let the lack of hair on the top of my head fool you. I’m really 30. I just lost a bet playing golf once and someone took out a divot. Actually, I’m 55 and when you and Tony can beat me consistently then y’all can pop off. 8) I love beating puppies (figure of speech only)
