Well,
It’s been a few days now and Roman and I are still sick but getting better. But I am still pinching myself to see if it’s real.
Freeze. You came out of retirement and conquered. I’m so glad it was you! You had one hell of a run and I’m so proud!
You other 4 stroke racers should take note and come out and race with the other Tag guys. I totally understand the Briggs romance. But I believe Rod got to come out and apply his unorthodox principles to a common class this year and showed it can be done. You can too. The numbers are there, they stay together all year long etc…
Anyway. I’ve found a new friend. Which means more than anything to me. I’ve found a thinking partner (which has been a kick for for me too) and a guy who will give you every last drop when the visor flips down. (God I love that) My family have had such a good time racing with you this year. You and Roman have raised each others game for sure. This would not have happened this year without the 2 of you pushing the other. We are going to be a formidable Team to deal with next year. Bring your “A” games next year boys. We’re very focused and driven to win. And just getting rolling.
Glad you landed with Kartworks too. What a Team Huh? Support, Sharing, Talent, Good equipment that is very well supported, fun? National Pro level driver leading the Team and so on. Some unique characteristics for our Team.
I’m so glad Rod. I’m So proud of you. When I look around the paddock, there are much better equipped racers as far as what they show up in. But no one is better equipped to think his way through it than you buddy. I wish Roman was up there this time, but it wasn’t in the cards. You were the best this day. And it was the day that counted.
Congratulations my friend!!! Look forward to more! You sly dog. (Tag World Champ) Enjoy it!!!

I have known him as long as I have been racing, and I know that is nothing compared to as long as he has been racing, but it was awesome to see him come back and win.
A great addition to the GP/Kartworks teamOctober 12, 2007 at 2:55 pm #59778Greg JohnsonParticipantThe time has come! 8)

I can offer you a couple of different packages to sample if you like. And of course anything Roman or I could offer to get you up to speed if needed, would be available.
You’ll no doubt be a front runner in no time.
