Thanks!

I thinks S is for shifter but not sure what the numbers or G mean. Last year when I was looking at what classes were available, I looked all over and never found any documents that show a class structure table online that gave me the answer. Just one thing that was a little frustrating for a newbie.
October 30, 2007 at 1:25 am #59950Angie MacEwenParticipantSorry about the forum issues… very frustrating. anyway, I am sure someone will explain this better. The letters come from SKUSA, going way back.
G1 is Masters 125 Shifter (I might say that the G is for Geezer, but I won’t)
G2 I think was 125 Shifter HeavyS1 was like Pro Moto Shifter
S2 Semi Pro
S3 Spec Shifter
S4 I think is Spec Shifter Heavy
S5 is the new Spec 125 JuniorK3 is Novice 80 Shifter
K2 is Junior 80 Shifterthere you go, that’s a start anyway.
I will let someone else explain what the SuperNats are and why everyone is so excited about it.
We went in ’05 (in the good ol’ days before they dropped the K3 out of it). Cole came home with 4th that year, which happened to be the best finish out of all of the CO drivers that went that year! (gotta brag when I can)
October 30, 2007 at 2:08 am #59951Curt KistlerParticipantYou can get all the Supernationals info one could want at http://www.superkartsusa.com/eleven/
October 30, 2007 at 2:20 am #59952Curt KistlerParticipantThe sound system will also be provided by a Colorado native. Matt’s big bro Davo will be providing the awsome sound system and FM broadcast for SKUSA, and Rob Howdens call for the third year.
The “Hour of Power” will be another rockin time this year. He will also be installing the timing loop back to the pre grid area so we can all watch the scoring at real time.
This year the track is being set up completely different from years past at Sam Boyd Stadium. Check out the track design and you can see what I am talking about.
We are working really hard to tie the broadcast into the football stadium so everyone watching from the rim, the preffered sopt to spectate, can also hear the announcements, music and action.October 30, 2007 at 2:46 am #59953Tony LaPortaParticipantIm not going but best of luck to all the Colorado boy’s!!! :~ :win
October 30, 2007 at 3:32 am #59954hotwheels1517Participantnot to steal this thread, but roadrunner which year are the rockies going to win the world series? I want to place my bet now so I can get an awesome return on my money.

October 30, 2007 at 3:56 am #59955Les PrinsParticipantSo when are the 4 strokes coming in the shifters?
October 30, 2007 at 5:04 pm #59956Mike JansenParticipantI’m not going but you all have a lot of fun and race well. With the approval from overseas I think you’ll truly have a world represented SuperNats, kick some serious butts and DON’T take out a fellow Colorado Karter!!!
If you get in trouble I can’t help you after 9PM. That includes you Rick. I don’t want to hear any stories about your neck hurting and you needed a massage. 8)
October 30, 2007 at 6:49 pm #59957Sheldon PotterParticipantThanks for the info, gang. Sounds very cool. Although I see on their site that some no-count British kid named Lewis Hamilton, who never went anywhere in racing, participated in 2000 (10/29 piece on their news page). 🙂

Sorry bout that, I knew there was a big one I was missing. It’l be so much fun again. Sounds like we are getting some out of country competitors to race the best we have here. Can’t wait.
