OK,
Thanks for all the e-mails.
Weather permitting, the last club race is on Sunday. If it rains or snows,
we are DONE!!!
Thanks for the understanding everyone. I hope to see you on Sunday.
Gates open at 6:00am
Warm up at 9:00am.
Thanks,
JimOctober 19, 2007 at 3:50 pm #59797Jon RomeneskoParticipant38 degrees(high)….60% chance of rain/snow…. 😥
Jim, are you sure you dont want to hold the last race on saturday? (74 and sunny) Oh well, i think i’ll keep my fingers crossed for some crazy Colorado turn of the weather.
Maybe you should consider hosting the year-ending annual ‘Will-It-Rain-Or-Will-It-Snow classic’ Remember the last CSC race last year? :loony:
October 19, 2007 at 5:15 pm #59798Kirk DeasonParticipantI’m wondering who the hell complained when it was originally announced for Saturday (74 degrees with sun) and if those people happened to check the weather for sunday. I know people like to practise on saturday and race sunday but SOMETIMES there are extenuating circumstances like SNOW.
Oh well, I’ll be there saturday to have fun and get the cobwebs out. Sunday? well…ask me at 630 am on sunday when I look outside.
October 20, 2007 at 3:31 pm #59799Brad BalderstonParticipantWhat are the chances of the race being called off TODAY??? In my opinion, it would save alot of grief so people don’t have to pack all up and head out to the track at the ass-crack of dawn and just have it called then when we are standing out there freezing and getting snowed on. 38 degrees for the high with snow all day on every weather channel seems like a pretty sure thing to me. Just a thought. :idn:
October 20, 2007 at 4:02 pm #59800David WatkinsParticipantI don’t want to beat a dead horse but I wanted to confirm that the season is over. I’ve sold my kart and collected funds but I’m not handing over the kart until the last race is called. That said, the buyer is ready to have the kart. It is my understanding that once the race is cancelled tomorrow we will not reschedule and the season is officially over……
October 21, 2007 at 12:17 am #59801Jim KeeslingParticipantThanks to everyone that was out playing today at The Track. As I watch the weather forcast, today should of been the day for the last race.
I was going to wait until tomorrow, however, to save you the time from driving here and “wait and see”, I’m canceling the race tomorrow.
I hope everyone has drained the motors and has a great “winter” sunday.
Thanks,
JimOctober 21, 2007 at 12:41 am #59802David WatkinsParticipantHi Jim,
Thanks for the cancellation. Do you plan to reschedule or is the season over?
October 21, 2007 at 11:56 am #59803larry tobyParticipantThanks Jim for the early notification. We got back from Monaco last night about 10:30PM. Jesse was hurting badly all week but he said he was ready to race today. As I look outside the window and watch the light rain/sleet/snow mixture fall I?m glad I don?t have to do a mad dash to prepare everything in the dark. We have raced 10 races in 10 consecutive weeks in six different series and I?m ready for a break!
Now I can think about blowing the dust off the skis and sharpening edges.
Cheers to all you throttleheads.

Thanks for telling me so late. I was up till 2am Sunday (that was my field handicap) attaching Rhinestones to Rick’s fleecethong, no the job’s still not done. It’s a small job you know 8)
Anyway, after driving though a sleeting rain and watching a Prius fly I decided to turn around go home. Still looking forward to having a fun day hopefully soon.
Rick, it’ll be done soon I promise. I know its getting cold out there and you need some fleece warmth…
